When I was a kid you could walk out onto the edge of this outcropping of rock over the two arches. However, between the time when I was a little kid that would marvel at the rock formations, and as an adult who would marvel at these rock formations, one of the archs collapsed, which means that you can't walk out onto it any more. I should also mention that they have gone and put up a heap of fences as well (though they may have already been there) simply because people have this really bad habit of trying to see how close to the edge of the cliff they can get, and then fall off (though I happen to be one of those silly people, but since I am writing this it is a good indicator that I haven't joined the statistics of people who have fallen off a cliff). Anyway, as for this place, it is certainly one of those sites that you should stop by and check out if you are driving along the Great Ocean Road, even if it has fallen down. read more
