You have your own private balcony to enjoy your coffee on. The apartment is nicely decorated for the most part. It's located in a great spot for walking around Eureka Springs down town area. The bad.... there is a huge creepy painting of a face in the bedroom. It stIrs at you all night long. The mattress is like egg foam mounted to a wooden pallet. The bed slides all over the place and has marred up the wall pretty badly. There is almost no water pressure in the shower. It was to the point that I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to since the shampoo out of my hair is someone decided to use the sink in another room. If this place was about $50 less per night, it would be great. I don't think we'll be staying here again after this weekend.

Avoid this place like the plague!…read more The good, the office staff is genuinely nice and moving is was a breeze. After that when you try to leave get everything in writing, take photos do everything you can to cover your butt because they will find ways to double your fee's on leaving. We have had to break our lease because of medical issues with one of our kids, we thought we could take them at their word and had a price we thought we had to pay for breaking the lease which was essentially two months rent, and losing the deposit. Yaaaaaa NO!!! We gave the notice as they requested what they did not tell us and it is NOT in the lease is that they will charge you if you leave before the 60 days and apparently they have to repaint walls that had nothing on them and was not repainted before we moved in also clean the floors which had nothing wrong with them anyway. I also recorded the apartment when I moved out because my gut said something would happen like this, but that does not good. The reviews you see on Google Review, Yelp or Apple Review for negative stars on customer service are true! You cannot get the same person if they ever respond. Most customer service has an email that you can go back and forth on to try and resolve an issue, my wife had several emails that went unanswered, I had one response but then the person will respond using a general address so that you cannot respond back to them. This place has potential great location and apartments are nice. If I was the owner there would be massive changes, but that maybe were the problem is, all they care about is $$$ so basically we have to stuck paying for several months of an apartment we are not in, and I'm sure they have already rented back out sooooooo double the profits for them. I have deterred three co-workers from coming here, plus another family member that was going to stay here while at U of A, While Highland does not care because they simply will find another renter. Very disappointed because we did love it here at first, now I am urging people to steer clear.

WARNING TO WOMEN AND LGBTQ! DO NOT STAY HERE! We were harassed and treated with such aggression…read moreand threatening behavior that I want to warn everyone about this place, especially women. My partner went to the desk to add a night on to our stay but was accused of lying about how long we had a pet on the property. The young man at the front desk followed her back to the room, tried to enter the room while I was not fully dressed and in the bathroom, told us to leave immediately at 9:30am or he was calling the police. He sat on the stoop next to our door to survey us getting all our belongings out in a hurry. I asked him why he was there and asked him to leave multiple times. He didn't leave. He wouldn't leave. He wasn't making sense when we tried to reason with him. We left the property in such stress and in a huge hurry because we were fleeing. It was traumatic and violating and they should be reported to the police, the city, the BBB and especially any women who would consider staying here. We plan to take action but wanted to write a review quickly so others could be warned. Also it's important that women know - It's a highly surveyed hotel, with cameras obviously outside. The employee evicted us, and monitored us threateningly at the door of our room the entire time we were trying to pack up, brush our teeth, change out of pajamas, etc.... He would not leave (I asked him multiple times to leave) and the door was open often because we were frantically getting our belongings out. I felt like he was trying to see me in a state of undress because he evicted us when I was obviously in my house clothes, then tried to enter the room and also stood at the door while we were vacating. We were also nervous about his presence because we had valuables. I am absolutely 100% sure this would not have happened to two men staying in their hotel.
