The service man also told me that the credit card payment on his tablet wasn't working so I had to pay by check. I wasn't planning to dispute a charge, but this made it to where I didn't have the option. I responded to two different text surveys with this rating and information and was assured both times that the service manager would follow up and they never did. My father also called multiple times and never got follow up. Tri county butchered a job. They replaced an AC unit in a double wide home for an elderly couple…read moreusing a much undersized unit. The correct unit size which was suppose to be much larger, is stamped RIGHT ON THE TRAILER. When we purchased the home, we asked why there was a window AC unit in the den and the owner said that they had always had to have that extra AC unit to keep the house cool since Tri county had replaced their AC. Tri County also told the elderly couple they had to add more ducting under the trailer and charged the elderly couple a significant amount for it. We had Tri county out when we were investigating the AC and they said it was working properly but the guy never went under the house. We reported them and a guy from their company came back and was only at the house for 10 mins...we have a front yard camera. The guy wasn't dirty AT ALL when he left. There is NO WAY he crawled all the way under the trailer to see all the ducting in that amount of time and came out perfectly clean. Not a chance. We had other professionals out to investigate. They proved to us that the Tri County installation was undersized and done improperly. The ducting they installed was not done well at all. When we called Tri County and asked about this, it was excuse after excuse - and then they wouldn't call us back. We ended up removing their undersized unit and installing the correct size unit. We also removed all their poorly installed ducting. Cost us thousands of dollars all together because Tri County clearly doesn't know how to size units for homes. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone! They royally screwed over an elderly couple and the folks that bought the home after them.
