But since I was a new member opening a new account they told me my deposit would be on hold. The teller lady said it would be a 3-day hold. But when I left and happened to look at my receipt I counted 8 day hold from the day they said my deposit would be released. I called to verify how many days would it be and at another location a teller told me all new accounts automatically have an 8-day hold. Next time I know to make sure of situations before leaving confused.

All they care about is charging fees and making your business suffer. I really wish someone would have told me how HORRIBLE this bank is if you're not Dick Scaife or Warren Buffett. They'll hold deposits back so they can charge you NSF fees on DEBIT CARD TRANSACTIONS!!!! When I called to work things out, the ignorant "woman" on the phone told me that I shold have money in my account before I charge things.. They lost 10 years of personal banking from us over raping our business and trying to clean us out. Shame on them!

That is not what pissed me off!! As Im sitting there another lady as loud as can be said there was no appointments available today I felt like an ass you could have just told me to make an appointment as I got up I got nothing but really dirty looks! Members have surcharge-free access to PNC ATMs to make withdrawals and deposits which is tremendously helpful. Renée and Costas have provided wonderful assistance with my retirement accounts. The organization does not employ trickery, unlike banks and even other credit unions. I have not been surprised by any fees. The few fees that I have paid have been reasonable and were for services that I specifically requested. There are fewer mobile banking options than can be found at other institutions. The mobile app, for instance, does not support mobile check deposits. I did inquire about the absence of the feature and was told that they did not feel that the technology was sufficiently secure to deploy. I found that response to be impressively satisfactory. Online banking is available and includes a bill-pay feature. I find the online functionality to be easy and intuitive to use. I have not used the bill-pay feature, however. I am a Millennial that prefers writing checks! Shared Branching is also available. I have been able to visit other credit unions that participate in Shared Branching and access my West-Aircomm account as if I were at home.

The Credit Union customer service reps are unable to remove you from the 3rd party providers they sell your info to, such as TruStage Insurance. The first time I called WestAirComm, they said they'd remove my information. Months later I'm still receiving junk mail. Today I call and am told * I * have to do the legwork to remove my address from TruStage. I call TruStage to be removed from their junk mailing list and the rep keeps asking me for birthdate and SSN on my policy. I don't have a policy!! I told them my birthdate it isn't necessary to stop mail coming to my home. In this day and age it's not wise to give out personal info to companies you don't have a business relationship with. Additionally, the West AirComm website is not up to modern standards. I've had wonderful experiences with other credit unions but this one is a joke.
