As the only beacon of alcoholic availability in a sea of dry counties, it's hard to knock Log Cabin, which requires the shortest drive for many who would like to imbibe but are limited in their ability to do so by onerous government regulation. Boasting a vast selection, clean premises and a generally helpful staff, Log Cabin goes out of its way to exceed the expectations one might reasonably have from a business with virtually no nearby competition. That said, they do take advantage of their unique location with slightly elevated pricing - a fact which, while not unexpected, is the primary aspect of their business model that holds them back from five-star status. Of course, if you're thirsty enough, you might not mind paying a little extra to cut your drive time by 30 minutes, in which case this is unquestionably your spot. read more
