This place reminded me of Denny's but in Chile. The main difference is the presence of multiple floors (three max)!
I ordered a hot chocolate, which warmed me up on that cold night but tasted like the packaged, powdered kind (not a fan personally). I'm not expecting them to have gourmet hot chocolate but I could have made that at home without paying what I did for it. I also tried a slice of kuchen (German pie) which was tasty (though not as tasty as the authentic kuchen in Frutillar or other parts of the South).
The service was so friendly! I loved conversing with the woman who served my group. She had a spunky sense of humor and joked with us in English and Spanish. If I could thank her again for that I would.
Another element of the restaurant that made me laugh was what was on TV. They were playing 80's music videos, including David Bowie. Not positive or negative, simply something that I noticed.
In summary, because it's open later than most businesses at night and relatively cheap, I recommend it for groups looking for a Chilean Denny's experience. read more
