Around 4:15 PM I got up from our table and I asked for a cocktail menu and the bartender hesitated before finally handing it to me. I was then told the bar was "closed" at 4:30 PM, even though the restaurant's posted closing time was 5 PM. What made the experience more frustrating was that the bartender spent most of the time just standing around and staring at us instead of providing service. If someone is scheduled to bartend, they should be willing to assist customers during business hours. The lack of effort and poor attitude made the atmosphere uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I understand places can have slow periods, but customer service should still be professional and attentive regardless of how busy it is. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression.
