Small kitchenette, toilet separate from wash room, two balconies, and a living room. More space than we needed, but really appreciated it. The room was slightly dated, but we do not mind as long as it is clean (and safe). We only need the room to sleep in. We spend all or our time in the city we are visiting. And especially thank you for having hotel laundry. If you are following, we have to do laundry every week for our extended travels. Ambiance - See above. Perfect location to all the tourist spots, in the middle of both the North and South Marseilles. Modern lobby. Very small cafe. Safe - You need a room key to get into the building after 10pm and to use elevators. Service - 6 stars. The manager here was more than accommodating and welcoming. Even gave us a verbal exit survey to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Price - Less than $150 a night. Owner Comment - Thanks for an affordable well located place to stay. I was extremely hesitant to stray away from booking a typical hotel, as that is what I am used to, but after seeing the state of the Airbnb's in Marseille, I am truly grateful we went with Staycity! Everyone was so kind and welcoming from the very first day, to the very last minute! The small touches of tea in the lobby or lemon water/ croissants. The "good morning, how are you?" And the security at the doors really made us feel so safe and welcome in our home away from home. The bed was a little firm but the pillows were cozy and it was nice to have so much space to spread out after long days of exploring. I will be highly recommending Staycity to all of my friends and family if they ever visit Marseille. Y'all are amazing, thank you for great memories!

I want to…read morekeep it as my own personal perfect getaway - a secret all for me :-) But the truth is they DESERVE a glowing review on Yelp, and they deserve to have people know how great a spot this is, so here I am... My husband said he wanted to see the coast of France when we returned this year, and I agreed. We thought about staying in Marseilles but chose instead to visit the lovely coastal town of Cassis. I am SO glad we did. There is something magical about this little town. It's situated at the base of a fairly steep hill that leads right down to the harbor and the Mediterranean sea. It's old and new at the same time. It's beautiful and fun while also being possibly the most relaxing spot I have ever been on plant earth. I never wanted to leave. A big part of all of our very positive feelings about Cassis had to do with our lodging at the Address. First, the location is wonderful - up on the hill and providing a wonderful view of the water and the hill from the numerous seating areas and balconies. We were visiting in February, so it was too cold to swim in the beautiful pool, but I could just imagine enjoying that view poolside when the weather is warmer. We rented the Master suite which is larger and located upstairs. This of course provides the best view since you are higher and the Master is just this little oasis of heaven. The space is not big but there are a lot of little touches and smart design choices that make the space plenty big and pretty much perfect. The bed is so soft and heavenly, you can open the window and feel the breeze, it's just a beautiful and relaxing spot. All of the amenities in the Address really take it to the next level, from the fancy toilet bidet (I am not kidding, total game changer if you like a bidet) to the automated blinds that slide up and down with the click of a button. Eric and Sabine are the ultimate hosts - offering to do just about anything for you, from making recommendations, giving directions, arranging transport to the airport or simply helping you with your baggage. Eric did not complain in the slightest when we arrived SEVEN hours after we were scheduled to (got stuck at Heathrow) and arrived at the gate after midnight. He was always there to answer questions, point us in the right direction or just simply chat. Sabine is a little more shy than Eric but equally hospitable, and she deserves extra credit because she is the incredible chef who prepares the daily breakfast. Each morning we would come down to a lovely sliced warm baguette with butter and a selection of jams, fruit, juice, coffee and then whatever we wanted within reason... eggs, homemade yogurt and most notably, Sabine's amazing pancakes. Don't be stupid like we were and wait till the last day to try one! Eric told us they were the best pancakes and he was not lying. I am not kidding when I say we are already discussing returning and for a longer period of time. I've stayed in a LOT of very nice places from Hawaii to Europe to Asia, and this little village in France was THE most relaxing and tranquil places I've ever stayed. I honestly cannot wait to come back and miss it immensely already.

Our room was great and everything was well maintained. The service was excellent with super friendly staff. The hotel's location is in a pretty convenient spot with walkable areas right nearby. They do offer locked parking underground that felt really safe for our rental. Their pool is beautiful and we definitely would've taken advantage if it had been warmer. I highly recommend this spot!

We found this place on Expedia last minute in more of a residential neighborhood where they had free,secured parking, which is what we were also looking for. The owners who spoke some English stayed late and waited for us to arrive, which was nice because there were a few keys given, as well as some codes, including one to get into the gate to the parking lot. A lot of responsibility haha The hotel is being remodeled room by room so it doesn't disturb business. While we were placed in an older room, it was fine. Certainly nothing special, but fine for a quick late check in/early check out. Comfy larger beds, tiny bathroom with stall shower, but with a hair dryer and some toiletries. Flatscreen tv with satellite cable. Tile floor, no carpet! Yay! On site restaurant. Very quiet! It was close to a few highly rated restaurants, but all were closed the night of the World Cup! We resorted to the only thing opened nearby at that was a 24 hr King Burger, or Burger King, so that's an option if you stay here and have late night munchies. It's just across the way. Nothing was wrong with the place. It's fine and priced appropriately. I just don't see many people staying in this particular area unless you're stopping in transit from one locale to the next. It's 30 minutes to Marseille via a highway. It is also not far from the Mediterranean though! 3.5 Stars.

But as they recommend, book in advance because the restaurant is very popular - and for good reason! I was really impressed with how sustainable and luxurious the restaurant and hotel are!! Their continental breakfast has everything that you could want... and each of the restaurant spaces are beautiful. I didn't get the chance to use the pool, but I hope to visit again - and when I do, I'll definitely take the opportunity to go for a swim!

Room: We booked a junior suite and it was lovely. The room was large and perhaps was once two separate rooms. There were two spacious closets for storage, a nice sized living area, huge bathroom with 2 showers (one large stall shower and one bath/shower combo), and nice bedroom. The bed was extremely comfy with soft linens. Robes and slippers were also provided. Service: Service at the restaurant was very good. I was disappointed with the front desk at check out and management's follow up response. My husband and I had to check out early because we learned late on Friday that we had to attend a memorial service on Sunday (we were scheduled for a Sunday morning check out). Although they refunded the pet fees and hotel taxes, they would not refund the breakfast. They said that I should have purchased a refundable room. This is also the only NH location that charged me for both dogs even though they are very small. Location: The location is very good. The tram stops in front of the hotel. It is near multiple restaurants and is a 10 minute walk from the harbor and a couple of historic neighborhoods. Food: The breakfast buffet is excellent. There are multiple hot and cold options. The pastries offered were great: bread, flan, creme brûlée, a very fancy cake in the shape of a cocoa bean, and coconut cake. Lots of fresh fruit and juice. Good bread selection too. Other: Parking is not directly available at the hotel but 2 blocks away. The entrance that is closer to the hotel is harder to reach with a car but there is a more direct entrance an additional block away. The hotel is pet friendly but has a steep 35 euro per pet fee.
