Ross was such a pleasure to work with from start to end! We hired him for our wedding last March and was blown away with his production and organizational skills. My dad had a DJ business for 30 years so I was definitely picky on choosing the perfect DJ. Dj Local Boy knows how to put on a show and we all loved him! He is a perfect DJ for any special occasion and keeps the party flowing and music going from genre to genre. He even brought out confetti poppers when the party started to get going on the dance floor! He kept the flow of our wedding smooth and helped us move from event to event (cake cutting, first dance, garter toss, etc.). Words can't express how great our wedding went because of Ross and dj local boy. We were recommended dj local boy by a friend and from our first meeting we were not disappointed. Ross gave me a free demo of what his company djs do and I was blown away, it was beyond my expectations. He sat down with me and from that point I knew that everything was going to be handle great. I held and hosted a film screening for an upcoming director and writer a few months ago and needed a DJ to run the after party. I found Local Boy on Yelp and after reading some reviews I decided to give them a call. Ross the owner was so so so helpful, and he was on top of things. There were no hidden fees and he was upfront with the pricing (very reasonable), he brought me into the office and I met the girl who be Djing for my event, Hannah Hyatt. She was young and hip and fit perfectly with the event I had in mind. (her bio is on their website!) She went over all the fine print with me, gave me a demo, and even let me request a list of songs I wanted to make sure were played. The night of the party she showed up on time and had everything set up early. She rocked the show the moment the first guest walked in the room until the moment the last guest said goodnight. I'm surprised there aren't more reviews on here because hands down, Ross is THE best DJ out there. I guess I should take into consideration that I haven't had many experiences with other DJ's, but now that I've come across Local Boy, I don't think anyone else can compete with their incredible service and their extremely reasonable prices. At my 18th birthday party he came early to set up, and he was so nice to all the guests. Whenever someone would request a song, he would play it right away, and he would make sure everything was running smoothly. He played so many of the songs I love, and my friends and family danced all night! He just kept the party going, and made sure everyone was having a blast. He took pictures all night (which were really great quality), and even made a highlight video for the event! My party would NOT have been the same without him, and I would recommend him to anyone. DJ Local Boy is amazing. When we met Ross we instantly knew we wanted to use DJ Local Boy as our DJ. He was booked, so DJ Local Girl (his sister) was our DJ. She is just as amazing! Ashley was with us every step of the way. Always responsive to every call, text and e-mail. She spent extra time with us meeting us prior to the wedding, spending hours at the rehersal, and arriving well before the wedding began. She kept the party going. Local Boy Ross needs to stay local forever! I was so impressed with his skills and overall execution at our corporate holiday party! His set-up from the speakers to lighting, sound, special effects and karaoke machines gave our event all it needed! This is the best DJ service I have ever worked with. I first called to set up a surprise birthday party for my younger sister. Ross, the owner, picked up the phone and I knew right off the bat that this company was going to be perfect for what I needed. Ross made everything super simple. When it came time for the event I was nervous because Ross sent me DJ Pacal who looked pretty young, however everything went smooth as butter. Just had our wedding this past Friday and Ross definitely took it to the next level. Everyone has been telling us he made the night! There's no song he couldn't make happen, and trust me there were some random requests. He was excited the whole time and kept the dance floor jumping. Ok, so here's the deal, my sister-in-law and my now brother-in-law got married at my house on 09/29/2012. They're cheap!! They were going to use an iPhone, or an iPad to play music. Wow! I got married in June of 2014 and Ross was my Dj. I could not have asked for a better Dj company for my special day. He was VERY energetic, organized, flexible, outgoing, fun, etc. Very good with announcing events and keeping things on schedule. DJ Ross is awesome! We didn't have a wedding planner and we didn't need one with Local Boy. He does it all you can pick all your songs and he has great songs to recommend. He has everything you want up lighting, bubbles, and all his equipment is incredible. His price can't be beat. We went to there weddings this year the other DJ's were double the price and they sucked, compared to DJ Ross. We got him for the price but we will recommend him because of how good he is at his job.
