a minute ago New…read moreBuyers: please be aware - literally. The customer service and care were subpar. You are better off visiting another store/shop that sales quality leather goods. The evidence & experience: Myself and a friend politely perused the store and found bags that we liked. We were accompanied by a friend fluent in French. I identified the bag that I liked, and the woman assisting me, attempted to give me the bag on display. I used Google translate to ask for a new bag from the stock in storage. She then promptly provided such a bag. But - why do I have to ask you not to provide me with the display bag? The display bag has been handled and touched by multiple people. Additionally, we informed her that we would like the proper forms for VAT/tax, duty-free. She was not happy or placed, it was clear that she did not want to go through the extra paperwork and documentation. She attempted to give us paperwork for our combined total - we asked for it to be separated - so we could claim our separate tax. Again, she appeared attitudinal. At that point, I was ready to leave the store and politely request a refund on the new leather bag that I just purchased. But, for the sake of my friends - I relented. Please help me understand - why such poor Customer Service? Half of the Battle or half of the job in this sector is Customer Service. It turns out, when we made our way to the airport to the tax refund Office - she did not provide the proper paperwork. So, we could not file nor receive a tax refund for our delicate purchases. Everyone deserves to know the type of customer service provided at stores such as this. Consumers - please be aware. The woman assisting us was an older French woman, with a short/bob haircut, with bangs that had streaks. I was so disappointed; as I have purchased goods internationally many times over the last decade. I would avoid this business. There's too many good ones out there that are quite similar to it.
