But as you know, credit lenders aren't so quick to forgive even with a nice salary and rising score. Banks everywhere were holding it against me or asking for outrageous downpayments. I'm also in the middle of having to move because of promotion, I can't dedicate that much to my car and still have a home as well, I'd rather lose the vehicle, figure out how to make it work for awhile than just be homeless. However I passed Van Bortel's used car lot and picked something I could more than afford. Sadly the question still was, who would trust me. But with Van Bortel's help and Canandaigua's trust, I was able to purchase the vehicle with only $2,000 down. I will forever be grateful for this and would in no way let them down. I had a bit of unfinished business at CNB so I went in yesterday and cleaned things up, a great feeling. I had called earlier to get exact figures and spoke with a gentlemen by the name of Angelo. Ang is new at this branch and is in customer relations management. I enjoyed meeting him and he went above and beyond to close things out for me. I was impressed. A young man by the name of Noah who was the bank teller working with Angelo on my account was also very helpful and polite. The Palmyra branch has super-friendly tellers and I'm always greeted with a smile, and feel that we're on a "first-name basis." When I have problems with my accounts, whether personal or business, I always feel comfortable to call and ask for assistance and am almost always content with the way things are handled. When I first started using this particular branch, I was impressed with all of the staff. It never took long to complete transactions; the lobby and the drive-thru were always open and well-staffed no matter what time of day (during business hours) I would drop by. However, as with many big businesses in today's economy, the number of people working there has dwindled, and although they remain cheerful and happy while serving customers, the waits are sometimes a little longer as can be the response time for more complicated financial issues/questions. Also, kudos to HSBC Bank, USA for changing up their website presentation for mobile devices in the past week. It was always a chore to enter all of the security information into the "full-size" website forms on my iPhone, but now they've created a mobile layout that makes mobile banking SO MUCH easier. Way to go, HSBC... I had seriously considered changing banks for this fact alone, since much of my life happens on-the-go. This will definitely keep me around a little longer. HSBC is a decent bank; the people at the Palmyra branch are above average.

This is the case no matter where I go, especially here! Very convenient location, parking is no issue due to the size of the parking lot. This branch is located near the center of the pad site... so you really don't have to worry about the lot filling up at Dick's Sporting Goods or K-Mart & hampering your ability to park near the bank. Staffing here seems to be well balanced, with enough tellers to handle a steady flow of customers. The level of service we enjoy here stands in stark contrast to my local Key Bank (another bank we occasionally frequent). Keep up the good work!
