Was in the area looking for something to eat for breakfast and found this place! They're in their soft opening phase, but everything was so smooth from the customer service to the food! We got the Cheesesteak sandwich and the OG breakfast burrito. Cheesesteak: 4/5 Presentation is nice, I do wish the cheese sauce was more integrated w the meat or the bread instead of on top. The bread was nice and fluffy. The meat is a little dry and tougher without that cheese sauce. Og burrito: 5/5 When I cut into it I knew it was special! I love when the tots are crispy and the eggs fluffy. Place is a little on the pricier side but you get hearty portions and it won't disappoint! read more

The burritos here are really good and definitely worth the price. The OG burrito has really nice crispy has browns and surprisingly the burrito isn't too greasy. The burritos are also very big and definitely justify the price. The cilantro sauce and the mayo based sauce were both really good and comes down to a preference thing. Parking here is really bad and wait times for your food can take a while. Definitely recommend ordering ahead of time with a pickup time pre-picked. Will be back! read more

I found this place on TikTok and decided to stop by to check it out. The first thing I noticed was how crowded it was and how limited the parking was. I ordered their OG breakfast burrito and a side of tater tots. They offered a nice variety of sauces, so I got the mild roasted red salsa and LJ's signature sauce, and they also gave me the medium green serrano sauce to try. Out of all three, I enjoyed the mild roasted red salsa and the green serrano the most. The burrito itself was large and filling. I split it with my boyfriend, and even after just half, I was already full. It was a bit on the oily side, but the fresh red salsa balanced that out nicely. The sauces also paired well with the tater tots. LJ's signature sauce tasted like a chipotle aioli very creamy and rich. Overall, the service was great, and the wait time wasn't bad, especially considering they were handling a lot of online orders. I'd definitely come back to try more items! read more

The vibes in there are super cute. Looks like a lowkey little shop from the outside but when you walk in it's super busy. There are a few places to sit and eat but it seems to be more of an order and go shop. I got the OG Breakfast Burrito with no sausage. Took it home and it was still super hot and gooey. I ate half and saved the other half for left overs because they are HUGE. The reason I gave it 4 of 5 stars is because it was full of tater tots and barely any egg. Seems like the egg was all in the middle of the burrito where it was cut. But towards the end was just potato and cheese :/ so I don't know if I can ask for more egg since I didn't want sausage? But that was the only downside. I'd definitely go back & ask for more eggs. read more

Wish I lived closer to LJ's. One of the best breakfast burritos I've had. Found them while visiting Anaheim and wanted coffee from Lee's Sandwiches next door. Visited on a rainy Sunday morning. The place was packed. Tried to order ahead but the wait was about an hour. Instead I just stood in line and it was about 20 minutes to order and receive my food. The burrito and sauce container were huge compared to wake and late. It was enough to share with my partner. It was very flavorful. Hash browns were crispy and tasty. We stopped by LJ's in Orange for the first time. Their burritos are so good, but their pastrami sandwich is amazing. Culinary at its best. Pastrami is not cold cut in plastic wrap. It is the real deal. Wood smoked brisket, smell like you are a camp fire. I am guessing the wood is Oak. Generous portion of meats, and all the right trimmings that go with it. Very reasonable price too. There were so many people in line, I got flustered and even forgot to check in on Yelp. Luckily I snapped some photos before we devoured it all. Came here for a post workout breakfast burrito and it was probably one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. Girlfriend and I got the OG and the Spicy OG. The burrito itself tastes great and is a good amount of food. They give you enough sauce on the side to drown your burrito in and still have some leftover. The tots inside were crispy, the Hawaiian sausage juicy, and the eggs perfectly soft. 10/10. read more

I've been loyal to Nate's Korners for years--no disrespect to them at all--but LJ's has officially won my heart. This was my first time trying it, and I ordered the OG breakfast burrito with the cilantro crema. Let me just say... it was so damn good. You can literally taste the quality in every bite. The place was packed, and now I know exactly why. I found this spot on TikTok and had to try it--and I'm so glad I did. My boyfriend and I can't stop coming here. Set your alarms though because the weekends are busy. I always mobile order because the wait is long. Their burritos are a 9/10 and we've gotten one almost every weekend. The inside is small and there is little seating, but I like taking my burrito home to eat. Ive been to both locations and im so happy they have a brick n boarder. These are the best breakfast burritos ive ever had. I think about them all the time. The breakfast burritos are just as good as the Cypress location!! I really like this new brick and mortar location, which has plenty of seating and is nice and clean inside. It's perfect for serving Orange County. I had the OG and Spicy OG breakfast burritos, shared with 2 other people. We had the creamy cilantro crema, salsa verde, hot habanero salsa, and mild red salsa. Surprisingly, the red salsa was my favorite. The tater tots in the burritos were nice and crispy, the scrambled eggs were nice and fluffy and perfectly cooked. Next time, I'd add an obscene amount of grilled jalapeños to the OG and see if they'd do the eggs over-medium instead of scrambled. The guy working the front (Frankie) was super helpful and friendly. All-around an excellent experience and I look forward to returning when I'm in OC. read more

The place is a definite hole in the wall. The place was small but the food was great. Long line to get food but one ordered, the food came out relatively quickly. We got a mix of things but one burrito is definitely enough for 2 people. W head plenty of left overs to take with us. The variety of salsas and festive holiday drinks are worth trying. Since I found about this place it has been my go to in the morning before heading into Disneyland which is 10 mins away from the parks. Even when there's a long line service is always quick. I am disappointed... that we only got one burrito! So sad. The tater tots inside the burrito must have been sooo crispy, because it still had texture after driving 15min home to eat! I think the move next time is to bring plates and eat in the car. But everything about that burrito was superlative. Recommend adding grilled onions, bell peppers, jalapeños, and tomatoes. Can't go wrong with the OG, but I will literally come try everything else on the menu. Service was excellent as well! Instant fan. read more

LJ’s Lil’ Cafe was first established outside of a Home Depot in Cypress, CA, where it swiftly became a favorite among both Home Depot staff and shoppers alike. They were consistently good. Then we saw the service start to slip about 6 months ago. I'm writing this review waiting at another restaurant down the street because we just walked out of Finney's after getting seated. This is the second time we've walked out of Finney's. Both times we just got tired of sitting at our table waiting for a server to come talk to us. They see us. They know we're there. No "hey we're really busy but we'll be right with you." Just no one seems to be responsible for taking our order, and so no one even checks in. It sucks. Finney's was great. Oh and they should get rid of the skeeball. Super annoying.
