Totally disgusted how we have been treated by this company. Their "experts" measured incorrectly and when we pointed out they were putting up something different than what we discussed, they just yelled at us that we signed a contract. A contract that their own installer said he could not follow. And when we called to discuss options, we were threatened with a lawsuit. It. Was only when we posted a bad review that we finally heard from someone willing to listen. They then sent someone here to remeasure and now crickets...No one has called and it has been at least five days since he was here. No phone calls, no messages, nothing. And when we call we just get told that someone will call us. How long are we supposed to sit here waiting and wondering? We initially wanted to build a wood cover with a corrugated roof, but after months of searching for a team to construct our planned structure, we became very frustrated. We found Ralph Trejo, a sales rep from Hausner Construction, through a friend who highly recommended that we ask him for a quote on an aluminum patio cover. After extolling all the attributes of how aluminum has a better finished result, our friend personally vouched for Ralph and his low-key sales presentation, giving him a chance to "change our minds." Ralph was such an authentic person, and he was able to describe and show us how nice these aluminum covers were without using pressure or typical sales tactics. The quote was amazingly fair and -- fast forward to today -- we now absolutely love our custom patio cover! As for the process, it became clear right away that Ralph was right about how smoothly it would go. A very polite tech came out and double checked the measurements, there was a 6 week timeframe to get the materials ready, and the team that installed the patio had done hundreds of these and would work quickly, getting the job completed in 2 days!! Hausner did my neighbor's patio cover and we liked the way it looked more than what many other neighbors had done so I reached out to them. From the start I was really impressed with Brent who not only was quick in response but was a friendly professional throughout. Even confirmed his appointment time day of. Brent came to our house and listened to what we had in mind but also gave some good suggestions based on his extensive knowledge. The whole experience I will say was overall great but not flawless. When the team came to install, they discovered the factory had mismeasured some pieces BUT they resolved it *the same night* and were back the next day to install. Things can happen and how a company responds shows you how they really are so Hausner did a great job. Brent also followed up after to make sure it was a good experience for us. Even "as a courtesy" (as their office pointed out haha), they had someone come and make an adjustment to our lights that we could not figure out ourselves. Would happily refer this company to anyone. We purchased an insulated patio cover for our back yard about 6 months ago. We waited until now to write the review as we wanted to make sure that everything was installed so that there were no leaks or any other issues that would affect our rating. From start to finish we could not be happier with the cover. Our sales person, Ralph Trejo, was great and was very easy to work with. He was also very responsive to our calls regarding changes, additions, etc. Never a problem for him or the company! The installation crew was great and very neat. We did have one small mistake in the install and the company stood behind that mistake and had the install crew return and fix the issue. We couldn't be happier with our new patio cover! My fiancé loves them yet my one and only issue is the outlet where the wired fans are connected to keeps tripping. Needless to say the wiring that was done by the Hausner construction crew is fully responsible for their work yet Matt has let me know that it's up to me to hire an electrician company to diagnose the issue because "it's a pre-existing electrical fault". The construction crew wired the patio lights and fans and at the end of the day it's my fault? I don't see this as being fair and I did mention the warranty that's in place yet again it's my fault to hire someone else. Pleased with the final pergola product - the poor review comes from the following issues after installation. They left the top of the unit white & this was not mentioned during sales conversation. Additionally, they left tacky, white bases as part of the finished product (also, not discussed during the initial sales conversation). The installation crew could not/would not complete the hook-up of the new lighting fixtures & left it as seen in the photo below. We had to secure our own painter and electrician to complete the project. The painting of the top and the bases were at our additional expense; however, the company did credit us the electrical work. read more

We called Hauser Construction and requested Brent to come and give us an estimate. He was able to come that same day. He took his time with us and explained it all start to finish. He was absolutely NO pressure. We were quoted 4 to 6 weeks for install. It was 4 weeks to the day. A crew of 4 very professional installers showed up exactly at 8am and knocked out our patio cover in one day. 2 large ceiling fans with lights were also installed. We have surely got everything we paid for. Great quality! Showed samples and he was so helpful, Friendly , informative and i was able to communicate with him about questions i had. He would answer or return my call so quickly. Hes great! The patio roof was awesome! It was so easy to get in touch and Ralph was so nice and professional too. I had questions. He had answers. I never forget good people. I called Ralph again for a second job at around December 2024. I asked Ralph if he can look at the patio so he can let me know if enclosing the patio is possible. I wanted to enclose the patio and attach it to the existing wooden patio. It's a complicated job. Ralph made it happen. He had a great design and we love it so much! Ralph is great also at communicating. I had questions and he was happy to help. THANK YOU RALPH! I recommend Ralph for sure and Hausner Construction. We used LJ Hausner through a general contractor to install an aluminum patio cover and the cover turned out beautifully. Ralph Trejo came out for the consultation and he was extremely knowledgeable about the product. He made great recommendations for lighting placement and installing a fan, and he helped us with our overall vision for the cover. We use the lights daily and love the dimmer switch. We sometimes wonder how we managed before we got the lights! As for the fan, we had to purchase it and provide it during the installation. Ralph was very specific on what type of fan to buy, and we truly appreciated that level of detail because it meant we didn't have to do extensive research and figure it out on our own. The solid cover is performing well so far. It feels like an extension of the house despite it not being an enclosed patio. We have had to adjust some of the plants that used to live on the patio because they need a little more light now, but that's far outweighed by how much more we can put under the cover since everything is protected by the solid cover. We were warned and can confirm that rain is louder on the aluminum than the traditional wood plank cover. It might bother some people but we have not had a problem with it. I deducted a star because communication with the office staff was frustrating, but in the end we got our installation scheduled and communication was fine after the date was on the calendar. Ralph is very responsive. We even had to call him after the installation to ask more questions, and he gladly jumped on it to provide us with the information we needed. read more

I have wanted a patio cover here for years! We have horrible, strong winds and hot summers. LJ Hausner Contruction was amazing. Ralph Trejo, our salesperson explained everything to me about how durable the product is, that it will stand up no problem to our incredible winds. It is much more fire resistant than a wood patio cover would be and there is little or no maintenance. Maybe wash it once in a while like a car. They installed two ceiling fans and two outlets for me which I ordered wet rated so they can be washed! The patio cover exceeded my expections, I love it! I love the look, the color, especially the dark ceiling and I have gotten so many compliments on it. And friends asking who to call to get their own! I didn't opt for the insulated version, I prefer the look of planks on the ceiling. It is so amazingly cool. I sit out and have my coffee almost every morning, and most evenings, with my dogs, enjoying the cool temps. The installer John was very nice, and knew what he was doing. He had no problem with the fans or any aspect of the installation, and it was a super hot two day install! Thank you, I have already recommended you all and will continue to do so. I was quoted and guaranteed my quote for a certain amount of time, as I needed to get some painting done etc., before the install.
