Found plastic wrap in my collards.

I found plastic wrap in my collards. I was hoping for a full refund but was unable to get all the food back to them.

Cold food smothered in gravy.

Food was cold, looked like something out of a horror movie. Taste was passable, but looked like something else if you catch my drift. Service was ok and fast, probably because they bulk cooked these things and put them on plates before hand. Skip this place and go to Cracker Barrel instead. Your stomach will thank you. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to use the bathroom

"Purty" good meal at a decent price. I had the baked chicken, rice with gravy, and baby limas, so good, so good. Saving the pecan pie for later. Yummelicious. Will definitely be back before leaving town. Sa

Came in about 10am today ( Wednesday, June 12, 2019) and it's a seat yourself place. Apparently popular with the older locals as a go to hang out eatery. Wife and I were looking for greasy spoon breakfast joint and this one fits well. I had the 2 eggs, sausage links, grits and toast. Wife had a chicken biscuit. Food was marginal at best; chicken on biscuit was undercooked; grits were thick but tasteless, eggs were too runny for over medium as requested, I asked for toast no butter, they were buttered. They don't serve ham. Staff was very friendly and place appeared clean. 5 star for staff, 1 star for food. Probably a hit or miss place, at best.

Small plate or fried flounder. Squash casserole. And cabbage

Lizards thicket is a Columbia chain restaurant that offers "home style cooking" at an affordable price. Standard menu item is one meat and 3 vegetables for 9.19, however they have other menu items including salads and also breakfast as well. If you are craving this type of food, it is normally pretty good. Usually have some issues with consistency at times and different restaurants seem like they may no It exactly follow the same recipe but I do enjoy eating here. I dined in, they did have dining, social distancing. The waiters are normally pretty friendly and food comes out fast. I would recommend if you want casual dining

Poorest excuse for a pork chop I've ever seen and cold French fries. We will not eat here again.

Chicken and waffles is the bomb because it is cooked to order fresh! The sides are meh and usually lukewarm.

Yelp did not fail; it wasn't a 5-star experience My food was burnt, not good at all. I had two burnt waffles. I know better. Never go to a chicken place and order a burger or vice versa (cultural phrasing). I was not at a place known for Breakfast or Brunch. Back to the review, the server acknowledged and then said, "They will prepare another." I think "another" meant the two waffles they returned, one. I said to the other server, "Where is the other one (waffle)?" His response wasn't, "Let me send your server over." NOPE, that's not what was said. He said, "Ask your server." I would have asked if he had returned. He didn't return; in fact, no one returned for a while. I shared my disappointment. Our server said, Oh, I thought only one was burnt. The waffle is a strong NO. Please don't order it, as it will be burned. The chicken was perfect. It was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the chicken. My friend had the burger, and it looked good. It was on what I call Toast Bread. Here are the clues, 1. Everyone had salads or sandwiches. I watched them pass my table. 2. Reviews were about sandwiches. Lesson learned: watch what others are ordering I should have ordered a salad! The review would probably have been better. I don't think the service would have been better. Now the icing on the cake! He brings the bill, and it's over $50 for two people, and he said, I didn't charge for the extra syrup! Dude, I didn't use it as the waffle was burnt!
