We had a counseling session scheduled. Showed up on time. Someone met us at the front door and asked us to sit in the waiting area and told us that the counselor would be with us shortly. We waited 30 minutes patiently past our scheduled time and then felt like something was wrong, so we opened the front door twice to make the doorbell ring both times to see if someone would come out because there was no receptionist on duty, which was the first issue. Not having a receptionist on duty is not the proper way to run a business of this nature. So, we knocked on one of the doors and a counselor came out to resolve the issue. We were very patient and we all communicated calmly, and the issue was handled professionally by the counselor, and supposedly resolved on the spot, so we thought. Afterwards is where things got disturbing. The next day, we get a phone call from the receptionist, Chiquina, who berated us with a nasty tone of voice, because we knocked on a counselor's door to resolve an issue that could have been avoided had Cynthia ran her business properly by having a receptionist at the front desk. Chiquina's scolding tone of voice and demeanor over the phone was incredibly rude and uncalled for. Then, Chiquina said we had to meet the owner, Cynthia, to talk about and supposedly resolve the issue?! It is starting to feel like the Twilight Zone at this point. So, now, we had to schedule a meeting and drive down there to sit with Cynthia and her husband?! This is very bizarre. We make the drive and we meet Cynthia and her husband in the conference room. Cynthia starts out with a professional tone about the fact that there was a mix up in the scheduling. She agreed there was a mix up in the schedule and she said we can all agree there was a mix up. Everything was polite and business like in a professional manor up to that point. But, then, her tone of voice and demeanor changed instantly into that of berating us about knocking on the door of one of the counselors. It became quickly apparent that she wanted us in there just to berate us and try to make us feel guilty for what was clearly her inability to run a business properly by having a receptionist at the front. Her attitude and tone was rude, inappropriate and unprofessional. I stopped her rude and unprofessional behavior 30 seconds into her disturbing tone of voice and I said, firmly, "I don't appreciate your disturbing tone and demeanor talking down to us for what was your business problem in the first place of not having a receptionist at the front to handle the apparent supposed schedule mix up that we thought was resolved already. Before I could say everything, Cynthia abruptly interrupted me by angrily slamming her hand hard on the table right in front of me (shocking) and instantly yelling at us rudely, and then getting up out of her chair and running over to the door and screaming at us, "GET OUT OF HERE NOW OR I WILL CALL THE POLICE. It became quickly apparent that she obviously has serious mental issues. Bringing us into what should have been an internal business deal was about as unprofessional as it gets. Witnessing her split-second Dr, Jekyll Mr. Hyde syndrome change was shocking, surreal and unbelievable. Of all the people in this world who you would think should have the ability to handle herself in a professional manor, would be a degreed professional with a counseling background. We were in her office to see one of her employed counselors to help a 13-year-old child. I am a 60-year-old mature adult. I've built and ran many successful businesses from online to construction over a 30-year period, and each having many employees. Had I been running her business; I would have quickly recognized the issue of not having a receptionist on duty, and I would have fired the receptionist for calling and berating a weekly paying client. I would have called my paying client instantly and apologized for my fired receptionist's sick behavior, and I would have apologized for not having a receptionist on duty at the time, and I would have apologized for any issue that my paying client had that wasted their time. What happened to the client or customer is always right anyway? Well, apparently, now we understand where the real problem is here; Cynthia, who more than likely approved of the receptionist calling us to berate us for knocking on the counselor's door. Do you want to potentially put yourself in this same situation with Cynthia, a ticking time bomb ready to blow up on you quickly because her ego is apparently the size of Texas and her personal issues obviously run deeper than the Grand Canyon? Is this the person you want counseling you or your child?

Sibel is good for relationship and sex counseling. That is the only reason she gets 2 Stars. If…read morenot, it would be 1 Star. But that is all. Her website claims to be "a full service center that treats you as an individual and supports your effort in seeking professional help." But this is not true. I had been seeing Sibel for about a month and a half and the only thing she would ever speak of was my relationship and sex. I would try to bring other things up but she immediately goes back to the same topics. I explained to her that I needed help with something important coming up which was not relationship related and her answer to that was "Just deal with it!" and she immediately went back to speaking about my relationship. Well that important event I had coming up didn't turn out so well because I fell into some bad habits (which I told her I was afraid of). Any guidance or support would have definitely helped. A simple "Just deal with it!" is not appropriate. I was later contacted by Sue, her office manager to see if I was going to keep my appointment for the next since I had missed 1 appointment due to exactly what I had spoken about with Sibel. I explained to Sue that I was extremely unsatisfied with what had occurred, but that I was willing to keep working with Sibel and I confirmed the appointment. About 5 minutes after hanging up with Sue, I received a message saying my appointment had been cancelled by my therapist. I called back but they would not answer my call. This is extremely unprofessional. She should get Zero Stars based solely on this but like I mentioned above, she's good for relationship advice. Lastly, she was late to every single appointment we had and in one instance, even forgot that we had an appointment.
