To put it plainly, he is as good as the reviews say. Gabriel is such a thoughtful, wise, curious, and genuinely kind person and skilled therapist that it's hard not to feel heard. BCBS told me there were multiple claims submitted for the same dates of service under different providers, even though I only had one visit on each date and had already paid my copays. Instead of taking accountability and fixing it, the office was dismissive and kept trying to make it my problem. Nadia, who identified herself as the manager, was especially dismissive. She did not want to listen to what I was saying and just kept telling me I was responsible for the remaining balance, even while I was trying to explain that the balance appeared to be incorrectly billed. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield and this office was supposed to be in network. Otherwise, there is no reason I would have driven an hour to go there in the first place. The billing process felt sloppy, the communication was terrible, and the staff seemed much more interested in collecting money than resolving an obvious dispute. My first visit should have been a warning sign. They made me drive all the way from Hollywood to Glendora for an in-person initial evaluation, then kept me waiting about an hour for the nurse practitioner. Overall: rude staff, poor communication, billing problems, and no accountability. I would never go back.
