I've seen other doctor's there and they are all non judgemental, empathetic and understanding as well as being top grade GP's. The home style exterior to the clinic continues inside and there is a play section for young children. There is constantly changing art hanging on the walls that marion art gallery sell and the reception staff are lovely and efficient. There isn't a chemist on site, but there is one 2 minutes away by car. If you need a doctor surgery that will tick all the boxes, give this one a go

She is particularly popular with people looking for help with conception. One of the best things about Tracey is she can give you an ideal diet and exercise plan (if required), but she'll also give you some real life alternatives as she knows we're not all puritans. She also prescribes Mediberb, the liquid herbs that are mixed to suit your needs. The centre has a counsellor of whom I've heard great reports and a really good remedial massage therapist. A few years ago I saw a more touchy feeling massage woman here. Not sure if she's still there, but she's good if you're into that style. The storefront stocks lots of health remedies and some gorgeous gifts. It's worth stopping in here even if you aren't seeing one of the practitioners. They also do fresh juices to order, which are great for a quick pick me up.

They offer an incredible gardening group where clients/consumers can help grow vegetables and even bring them home to cook with, they offer 8 ball tournaments, cooking groups where they make and bring home food like pizza (with rustic vegetables on them), they offer walking groups and most importantly they offer hope, friendship and respect. Clients/consumers can spend time with each other and forge friendships (which can otherwise be difficult in the community, people living with mental ill health often feel isolated). They learn skills and socialise in an environment free of judgement, where they feel safe and secure with friendly staff. At first many consumers/clients feel a little anxious about meeting new people, but overwhelmingly the majority want to return regularly to continue building frienships, learning skills and having fun. I am in no way associated with Club 68 ( Now called The Cottage) and have worked at an NGO supporting people living with mental ill health, this was one of our best resources and best stepping stones for having clients engage in meaningful ways in the community. Definitely worth checking out, it changed peoples lives in a very positive way and was free.

I had seen other counsellors over the years but this was the first time I had found the right person to guide me through difficult life changes and help me deal with issues from the past. My sessions with Michele enabled me to understand my patterns of behaviour and regain my sense of self and self-worth, as well as providing me with relaxation, mindfulness and meditation techniques to maintain a sense of calm and balance in my life. To complement the counselling, I took the opportunity to also have remedial massage therapy to alleviate the stress in my body. Following my ongoing massage sessions, I indulge myself with a walk along Seacliff beach (a stone's throw away); it's a winning combination that leaves me feeling like I've had a mini-break from everyday life and stress. There is no doubt that Michele has a gift as a healer of mind and body and I would not hesitate recommending her to others.
