For the first time last week I managed to have enough time before grocery shopping to have a wander around Happy Angels, an eye catching store for littlies. Often I am let down on closer inspection of kids clothes at the quality or the expense. So I was rapt and my two children overly spoiled by my new found discovery. Offering the adorable collections you can find at outlets such as Pumpkin Patch but at half the price in some cases Happy Angels made my grocery day unusually worthwhile. Grabbing bargains such as a dark denim jean/white dress shirt/pinstripe vest combo for my one year old boy for just $30 and a beautiful floral springtime dress for my daughter for $20 made me one happy mummy (don't know about angel!) indeed. And there were no pushy sales staff trying to sell me 30cm of fabric for $99, trying to convince me it's such great value at the same time. I was able to look around myself, make my selections and then have a nice chat about what I'd decided on when finalising my purchases. Happy Angels = happy grocery days!

Offering really high quality, age appropriate clothing for kids, taking styles from the latest fashion trends and making them into adorable kids outfits. They sell for kids from newborns, right up to the age of 14. I've got a baby boy and a five year old girl and I love the current summer range for both. Nothing too fru-fru or frilly, they have managed the perfect balance between trendy fashion styles for kids that don't make them look like 20 year old gnomes. Quite pricey, similar to Pumpkin Patch but look out for the great sales. Anyway, our lil angels are worth a splurge every now and again... especially when it comes to playing dress ups!

horrible customer service. went to exchange a gift and they said no as i didn't have a receipt. i…read moresaid i am happy to just change for another item and i knew the person had bought from here as it had the wrapping. retail assistant was unhelpful and mean and said sorry we don't return sale items anyway so maybe just re gift it. i was really embarrassed and left the store very unsatisfied with the gift that i wanted to exchange. i had made a big effort to get to the store and not even a credit note was available. very disappointed in this shop and will NOT be returning.

And they've just made my day today with a trench purchase from the Winter discount rack. I've gone all freaking winter without a classic black trench coat, my old one was frustratingly fluffy and sadly unwearable no matter how many times it was washed or dry cleaned. And getting suckered into buying other treats for myself if I went looking for a trench coat but couldn't find one didn't help my situation. So, halfway through winter and after a long tweed and soft cashmere splurge, I put a restriction on purchasing an essential black jacket until the 2012 winter season. And then today, walking in to grab some things quickly from Coles, I doubled back when I thought I saw a 2011 season, long, black cotton jacket with military buttons for $35. I wasn't seeing things so I've snaffled it up and it now has pride of place in my wardrobe. How lucky was I that the last one in stock was a size 6! I've also bought other bargains from here before, like a pair of dark denim jeans with bright stitching for $20. They've got a large collection of very tiny cocktail dresses for the short and skinny of us. Some of them are Pretty Woman style but if you're going along to one of the Spring Racing Carnival events you might be able to pick up a cheap treat here, which if dressed up with some dazzling accessories could be a winner in the fashion stakes!
