She knows exactly how to keep it fun and interesting for the kiddies. They are very patient with the kids and create fun ways for them To learn the moves in soccer. Considering my son had just turned 2 I felt like he was a bit young for the league but nonetheless he still had fun. We met weekly for an hour each Saturday at 9am. Most of the lessons were based on moves that the kids would need to learn to play soccer. There are no games since they are too young to get the entire concept down. I plan on signing him up again next year but more likely I will put him in the winter league since it still was too hot out during sept and October.

I only recall playing on this field once, but it was one of the most memorable moments of my…read morecareer. When I was 15 years old a mass shooting occurred at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, which I only lived about 10 minutes away from and tragically, 17 students and teachers died. Needless to say this devastated the community, including the soccer community. One of the victims, Alyssa Alhadeff and I used to play together on the Miramar Fields. While it had been many years since I had seen her, losing her in such a cruel and senseless way definitely affected me and my my team. The game that we played here took place a few days after the shooting. Everyone in the community was in a very bad place mentally, but before the game we did a moment of silence, and read off every name that we lost. We taped Alyssa's number on our wrists and cleats. It was a touching moment in such a dark time, and I believe I will remember it the rest of my life.

With how big the park is, it was easy to find a spot that was not crowded to see the fireworks show. I was also impressed at the organized shuttle service which brought people back and forth to the overflow parking lots. Lastly, there is a beautiful lake, great paths and an adventure playground! Looking to put your kid in this soccer school? RED FLAG. Do better research and look further. Why?…read more1. Not licensed/no competitive environment (fact 1). 2. No focus on (team) development (fact 2). 3. Expect a high amount of weather cancellations, and despite numerous promises no (0%) make up session at all (fact 3). To the person responding to this review: I know you are going to deny everything and point to mediocre policies that put youth development on the side and are only for demonstrative purposes. Nevertheless one may argue over opinions but facts speak for themselves. I have taken my son out of Brazil Soccer Academy and I have found a new school close by where I experience a main difference in terms of professionalism and taking responsibility for youth development. Thereby I feel sure about the lack of professionalism I experienced in Brazil soccer Academy as compared to what is elsewhere. Below I will explain in more detail the above mentioned 3 points. 1. Not licensed/no competitive environment. Because Brazil Soccer Academy does not have a license the school is not allowed/able to organize competitive games against other schools. VERY rarely they organize boring in house tournaments where players only play against team mates from within the school. In other words, there is no exposure to other styles/schools because 0% competition is brought in. Like is being stated on the website: ''exposure to global soccer methods, travel teams'' is complete nonsense and based on fake story telling (straight out lie). 2. No focus on (team) development The so-called youth school is used as a cash cow for one or two advanced teams (over 16 years old) which are organized under Kedima FC. I doubt very much if any of the coaches in Brazil Soccer School are FIFA certified. Again, not licensed means no regulation, no certification, no professionalism, no ownership etc.etc. The owner thinks he invented soccer but has issues with anger management. Therefore he developed a culture of 'it is better to shut up, than to say anything': You are not allowed to clearly see your own kid playing soccer. Therefore the parents are being separated in a distant area from where the kids are playing football. The owner argues that kids get distracted once they hear their parents and therefore it is forbidden to support your kid. There is minimal communication in regard to how the development of your kid is advancing and where and how to improve abilities. It is true that the owner Luciano does not speak any other language than Portuguese during training. He is the one exclusively coaching in Futsal. So if your kid is not speaking Portuguese, forget it anyway. For the responder to this review: DON'T PLAY the discrimination card: You know what discrimination is LUCIANO???? Separating what you call 'good players' from other players. That is exactly what you do. I personally had a disagreement with you, and because of that you called my son (8 years old) in your Brazilian style of offensive language unable to compete at any competitive level. Deal with your own issues elsewhere. Don't call my kid out in front of everybody. A kid can not defend itself, do you remember?. You are the school owner, you should know, but you don't. 3. Expect a high amount of weather cancellations The training schedule in Brazil soccer academy is spread across several hours (5:30 - 7:30) where each hour is scheduled for different age groups. When a thunder/lightning happens at 5:20pm, a whatsapp message get immediately send out that soccer training is cancelled. Now being in another school I notice a big difference. Yes training gets postponed for 20 minutes in case of bad weather conditions, however when weather allows it after 20 minutes, they will train again. Where the kids train in the new school after 20 minutes, training in Brazil Soccer Academy is cancelled for the full 90 minutes no matter what. AND make up sessions in Brazil Soccer Academy NEVER happened. In the new school it already happened 2 times in 1 month. In other words, I get way more for my money in the new school than in Brazil Soccer Academy. Anyway very disappointed and happy I am out!
