She loves being with the other kids and she eats real good there! She comes home exhausted and happy. She's over a year old now and every morning when we talk about going to daycare, she smiles and giggles. Best decision I ever made for childcare !

I could not say enough about why I like this school. I originally looked at another school in the…read morearea and was torn between which one to send my daughters to. When I bumped into a coworker at Jenn's Junction and she told me that her daughter LOVED the place it was a no-brainer. I immediately registered my twins. Since Day 1, I have been happy with that decision. The work ethic is apparent of not only teachers but especially the staff. Ms Anita and Ms Jenn are super accommodating, loving, flexible, enthusiastic, etc etc etc. In addition, when my daughters had trouble acclimating in the beginning, they made it a point to walk them down to their classroom and were super hands-on. One day Ms Anita heard my daughter saying she had a bad day and she immediately walked down the hall to ask her why and comfort her. I could go on and on and on. The children's days are filled with writing and reading and puzzles and hands-on activities, as well as yummy snacks and lunches and nap time! All in all an A+ according to me! oh and I should also add that whenever I email Ms Jenn she is on it. She responds fast and is ready to answer any questions or give me feedback. Love love love! Nice to know my daughters are in good hands when I drop them off and head to teach myself!

This particular location is independently owned and operated by Alicia Antoine who is extremely experienced, having run another TLE location for 8 years and being a mom of 3. She understands the needs of working parents since she is very involved and hands on herself, opening the center daily. She also used to be a teacher and is extremely supportive to her teaching team because she shares the same passion for providing quality care and education to children in the community. I truly couldn't have picked a better place to settle in my career. The facility itself is absolutely beautiful (you have to see it to believe it) and TLE's curriculum is hands down the most comprehensive educational program I've had the ability to work with. The curriculum and research development team ensures that each child is able to grow and develop independently while becoming caring members of society. It is because of this team that teachers are afforded the ability to focus their energy on being loving and nurturing caregivers while they execute the TLE curriculum created by corporate. At TLE of North Haledon, you honestly get the best of all worlds- a brand new school with beautiful amenities, an experienced and passionate owner, a comprehensive curriculum, and the most loving, nurturing staff. You'd be hard-pressed to find all of these unique qualities anywhere else, and I am grateful to be part of such an incredible school.

I wholeheartedly recommend the Apple Tree to anyone seeking a warm and enriching environment for a…read morechild. My little one was with them for two years, and the growth we have seen is amazing. The teachers are not only highly qualified but also very caring, thus creating a homely atmosphere that makes children both safe and eager to learn. The curriculum is very well planned to encourage creativity and curiosity by including arts, music, and outdoor play. I loved how my child was encouraged to explore their interests and develop all the essential social skills through engaging activities and playdates. The small class sizes truly made the difference in allowing personalized attention to help my child thrive. What impresses me most is the very strong sense of community among parents and staff. We celebrated milestones together, supported one another, and made the experience so much more special. If you are looking for a place where your child will blossom and develop a love for learning, this is the perfect place. I couldn't be happier with our experience!

When we looked for day cares for our daughter we must have physically visited over 10 of them in…read morethe surrounding area. Nearly every daycare was old, dingy, disgusting and a total lack of cleanliness. (One of them even had a thumb-tack on the floor in the toddler section!) We enrolled her when she was 3 (in 2013) and she just finished her last day. A very sad day indeed. Every class she has been in was very small (around 7-15 kids at most), and the larger classes had two teachers. Between the gym time, Spanish, karate, field trips and all the other extracurricular activities the kids engaged in through the years she was there, I was outright impressed by the level of service for the price. Not only that, but our little girl developed quite well in this school. The teachers worked with her personally, always informed you if something was amiss and took action immediately to ethically diffuse any other situation. Our child was not just a number like how they are in many other schools and daycares. I call this a school because that's what this truly is. This is not just your standard daycare where a random "expert"watches your child in "centers". They actually do care. Let me go through a run down of the value of this school: -Locked doors with security keys where only parents can enter. If someone manages to enter the building, which happens very rarely and mostly due to parents not thinking straight, the staff will stop you IMMEDIATELY and send you to the office. -Entrance DIRECTLY from the back of the school to the playground without having to use a rope for the kids (this was all too common in many of the daycares in the surrounding area and a big concern for us. If one 3 year old runs away from the rope, guess where all the other 10 are going! Thats right, towards a busy road!) -Logging of every event that happened throughout the day. When they went to the bathroom, what they ate, etc. -Ability to warm food (again, this was lacking from a lot of the other daycares in the area!) -CLEANLINESS. At the end of the day, you are smacked with the smell of cleaners. You also will notice the staff cleaning every day after school. This again was something that (while one may think is expected) many other daycares did not have. -Extracurricular activities. Many of the other daycares in the area did not have this and I highly doubt they can even compete. The Apple Tree has yearly field trips to farms, celebrates all the holidays and the teachers work with the children to learn songs for holiday concerts. It quite impressive watching an entire school learn Christmas, thanksgiving and Halloween songs and actually remember the words. Every holiday the teachers hold parties for the kids in class and parents are welcome inside to enjoy after concerts. For Halloween the kids do a "trick-or-treat" in the parking lot, which is situated in the far back of the lot to ensure the safety of the children. -They hold "graduation" every year with a ceremony. -My daughter (at the time 4) learned addition up to 10 BEFORE kindergarten. Her Pre-K2 class heavily prepared her for Kindergarten. She also was able to read words and sound them out just before the start of Kindergarten and now, just finishing, is able to read long books. Not only that but she is incredibly motivated to read and cannot stop putting down books. -Hot lunches (extra money) every monday and friday (mcdonalds and pizza) -VERY VERY VERY understanding of nut allergies. If just one kid in the room has an allergy, no parent is allowed at all to bring in any form of nuts. While our daughter is fine, it's nice to know they care about the safety of other children with these allergies. -since our daughter has been enrolled (which is now for 3 years) the same teachers have been there. They are friendly and her previous teachers always ask about her.

Total charge was $2,400 for one month of summer camp. The price is not my main issue. Its the manner in which they bill and THREATEN. I usually send my daughter to Lightbridge which has smaller class sizes and is a better school IMO and have never been billed in that manner. Apple Montesorri billing practice is threatening and predatory in nature. On Monday, 3/20, I received an email indicating paymment should in full in 2 days or "your application will be denied". . I didnt want my daughter to attend a school with such practices so I didnt pay tge inviice forgetting that I had given them my credit card info. . My card was charged on Friday 3/24. Today on 3/27, I contacted them telling the school I'm no longr interested in their summer program. They claim I cant reverse the charge and my daughter must attend their summer program that starts 2 months away. I've already called my bank to reverse the charge. But had to leave a review as this practice is predatory and manipulative. I only wanted my daughter to attend due to the daily swim classes n activities. But I could not in good faith support a school thats so impersonal and threatens parents. Their proram doent start till after July 4 by tge way. We're still in March!.

The school used to be very good and it used to feel like family. But, now the overall experience…read morehas deteriorated. The only thing school really cares about is money and how to get more money from parent's pockets. We had a very bad experience when they started charging us for AM and PM care randomly for being 1 or 2 minutes late or early. When we tried to explain that the timestamps appear to be made up(which they were - I had proof), they just charged us anyway(without authorization). Even when the assistant director told us that there was an error on their part, the tuition director didn't refund us the charge. Following is what I observed in being ~4 years with the school: 1. They find new ways of getting money from parents. 2. Their fast track program($100 per month) is a waste. When the teacher of this program left, the school didn't inform the parents about it and kept charging us. 3. Even the tution director who does the billing doesn't know the correct buffer pick or drop times for the parents. These buffer times changed when I exchanged emails with her. Earlier it was said that it's 10 minutes for morning but later this was changed to 15 minutes in the same email thread.(looks like a scam to me) Their payment system has been designed to make holes in parent's pockets: 1. There is no free AM or PM care, and buffer times vary based on whom you ask. 2. During covid they did close classrooms for weeks, but we as parents never asked for refund. They should have at least brought it up. We kept our kids home and never said that we need money back for services we never got. 3. Fast track classes are charged $100 per month. Why would you charge for extra class when it should be available for every kid paying the monthly tuition? I can't give less than 1 on review, but if they keep going on this path then parents like us will keep leaving this school. Please do not send your kid to this school. Stars for the management : 0
