My child was asleep on her cot when Terez Estrada walked over to her, kicking the cot several times, then lifting it with her foot, causing my child to jump out of her sleep scared. The cot nearly rolled over. About 5 minutes later I watched my child walk up to Terez Estrada pointing to the bathroom signaling that she had to potty. Terez Estarda never once looked down at my child to give her the attention. As all of this was taking place I left work early, rushing through traffic to make my way to Everbrook Academy. On the drive there, I continued to watch the live cameras and and repeatedly witnessed Terez Estrada mistreat and neglect my child. While the children were being lined up to go outside, Terez Estrada forced my child to stay inside while all of the other children went outside. During snack time, Terez Estrada literally poured my child's snack on the bare table while giving the other kids a bowl to eat out of. Once I arrived at Everbrook Academy, I immediately spoke with the principal, Sydney Richardson, and told her everything that I had witnessed. The next day, I received a phone call from the Director of Everbrook Academy, Barb. She told me that she would view the tapes and then would give me a call back to set up a meeting to discuss the incident. It is now October and I haven't heard anything from Barb. This incident has definitely been swept up under the rug while Terez Estrada still remains an active employee at Everbrook Academy. This was one of my biggest fears about placing my child in daycare and to witness this all happen is heartbreaking.

I learned the hard way that I was having a tough time with the transition and I am so thankful for the staff at Tutor Time for helping us through this. Staff comforted our son and made his transition to daycare so great that some days he doesn't want to leave. The staff are so willing to talk about anything and adjust to what we do at home which is helpful. If there is an issue Ashley or the teachers will answer them and fix what they can. I love the cameras in class where I can pop in and see our son happy, learning and loving daycare. The app they use is so nice to message staff, see pictures, updates, etc. The staff all know who the kids are, interact with us and the kids when they are coming and going and make you feel welcome. The director actually helps in classrooms and loves it, unlike other daycares where they don't know the kids or the classes. Our son has learned so much at daycare and we couldn't be more thankful to Tutor Time. Our son has been in a few different daycares across the last few years due to closures and us moving and I can easily say this is our favorite. We've never had a center director that has been as responsive, present, and supportive as Ms. Brittany has been throughout this entire process. The assistant director and the classroom teachers have also been wonderful! They have live-streaming cameras which make checking in very easy but the trust that has been built so quickly has made the cameras just a simple, fun perk now instead of a comfort necessity. The teachers are also great at providing frequent updates on the app. Our son loves going to "school" and literally runs in most days! We are so grateful to the entire team there!

*Our Overall Experience*…read more Though Tutor Time was not our first option, it ultimately became a good option for our son. Like any childcare center, it had its ups and downs during our time there. I'd like to walk through some of the experiences as neutrally as possible and hope others will find this review helpful. *Leadership You Can Feel Good About* Stacey Baker is a great and committed director. She truly cares about the children, the programs, and the families. I appreciated how personable and understanding she is, while still maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality care. She does the best she can with the resources available to her and often steps in where needed. *Teachers Make the Difference* One of the strengths of Tutor Time is its few truly great teachers. When my son first started, he struggled with his initial teacher. At first, I assumed this was simply due to adjusting to a new environment, but we noticed that his behavioral challenges were specific to that classroom and did not occur with other teachers. Once he was moved to a different class, his experience and behavior improved dramatically--it was truly night and day. I hope Tutor Time considers having more teachers trained or mentored by their strongest educators. *How Our Child Was Supported and Engaged* For the most part, our son had a great time. I especially appreciated how his teachers embraced his love of drums and music, incorporating it into activities rather than labeling him as disruptive. He was able to develop new skills and broaden his food palate--it was wonderful seeing him enjoy foods beyond cereal. *Staffing Consistency (or Lack Thereof)* One consistent challenge during our time there was low staffing and high staff turnover. This sometimes caused confusion and disrupted teacher assignments and daily activities. As mentioned earlier, Stacey did her best under the circumstances, often filling in herself when needed. *Peer Behavior and Classroom Dynamics* Another concern we experienced involved our son picking up disruptive behaviors from older children. This was difficult to undo/ "correct" at home, as his behavior became more aggressive for a period of time. Eventually, the center addressed this by separating age groups more effectively, which we appreciated. *Billing, Payments, and Communication* We also encountered challenges with the payment system. The app and payment platforms are not well integrated, as they operate through separate systems. We experienced multiple issues with autopay and found it difficult to track an accurate balance. At one point, we were sent to collections for a payment we believed had already been made. Our statements did not clearly reflect a missed payment, and despite the issue allegedly occurring in March, we continued to make payments through June without any indication of a problem or interruption in services, which conflicted with stated policy. *Would We Choose Tutor Time Again?* Overall, every place has its ups and downs, many of which are situational. Despite the challenges we experienced, our son enjoyed the better moments there, and so did we. Tutor Time has strong potential, and I hope they receive the necessary resources to fully realize it.
