I see the games and activities that the children are engaged in. They are age appropriate and the children are very attentive to what they are learning. Also, I have had my 1 and a half, and three year old grandsons in the program. They are in diapers and have never had a rash when they go home. Also, my four year old granddaughter gets some help with potty training. In addition to that, they do up her hair in cute ways. This is a big deal since she won't let my husband or I touch her hair without screaming. I don't know how they do it, but I am so grateful that they do this. I guess I am meaning to say this preschool goes above and beyond my expectations. I cannot thank the teachers and director of the daycare enough. I love my grandchildren and they do too. I give them a five star review and if I could, I would go even higher. My granddaughter loves going to preschool. I want to see my teachers and my friends she says. The last few months since he has had Ms. Jeanette as his teacher, it has been a complete 180 for him. When I wake him up in the morning, the first things he asks is if he has "school". When I say yes, he always jumps up and says "Yay, I love school!" Ms. Jeanette keeps these babies in line, reminding them of their manners but also teaches them very well and also most recently alot about Black History, which I absolutely Love and appreciate! It's not stuffy. Some of the other daycares I toured had a real 'factory' vibe to them that seemed cold and like some sort of weird production line where the kids went through the same station rotation every day. Brownstone has the structure that kids need, but also allows for flexibility. While there's a lot of the typical turnover you see in all daycares, there doesn't seem to be a lot of turnover with the lead teachers, who are the ones you want to be consistent. One of the best things about Brownstone is that they allow part-time care for infants and toddlers, which is REALLY hard to find, and are reasonably priced. They are currently a 3 star SUTQ rated facility, which is a good rating. If you can get over some of the superficial things that need fixing up (which kids don't give a hoot about) you won't be disappointed in the quality of care. *Not receiving any freebies for this recommendation. Just want to get the word out that this is a good value daycare in the area.

I'd have been happy to pay more if the increase was going to the teachers like they said it would. After speaking to current and former employees, they never saw those funds from the increase in tuition. Therefore the question remains, where did that money go? Not to mention that in addition to the weekly fee, you will pay a monthly teacher fee (no idea what this is for) and a monthly organic fee. They raised prices for services they had told us they were already providing, such as yoga. In one price raise (they had 3 or 4 since Covid), they stated they were going to be installing an outdoor water play area, which they did. However, capital improvements should be part of a business's operating income-not my tuition, in my opinion. Teachers were in and out and we never knew who our child would be with that day. Well meaning teachers who got no support from ownership. The center is disorganized and did not allow for day to day communications. This was absolutely a favor that we parted ways with Brownstone. I was comfortable with the care there when we started almost 4 years ago, but the quality of care has declined sharply in that time.

They offer a wide variety of activities for the children and provide care in a kind manner. My child had a wonderful experience at St. Peter's Child Care Center and I would highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for quality care. It was truly enriching to her and I did not feel as if I was burdening anyone with the task of providing her stimulating and high quality education and care. The teachers are incredibly nice and welcoming and they made her feel very comfortable outside of her regular home environment. The center regularly hosts very nice activities to for the families of the children attending the center. It is obvious that they put a lot of thought and effort into what they do.
