I spotted this Little Free Library in a residential neighborhood of Independence. It is in front of a home on a wide street. The library is painted and decorated to match the house it stands in front of, which is always a treat to see. On the other side of the white picket fence, the library is green with white trim and even has a chimney. The single door opens to show two clean and try shelves of books, neatly stacked. A good variety of paperbacks and hardcovers. Some thrillers, some biography, some history and some retired library books. All in very good condition. A few of these I even have in my own library though nothing I thought to grab for my reading today. This is charter number 137362. It is listed in the Little Free Library database map.
