The box has small Christmas lights on the edges. I'll have to come back here at night and see if it really lights up. The day that I visited the box had all kinds of books, both kids as well as adults. I left them a brand-new hardcover book. This box was created by our local girl scout troop. At first, I wasn't sure if it was a Girl Scout or Boy Scout Troop but I looked it up on the internet and it is indeed a Girl Scout Troop. Bravo bravo! The library appears to be quite old, but seems to be holding up pretty well. Thank you Girl Scout Troop 32255 for setting up this nice little box!

Wow Dublin, my hometown, finally has its first little free library book box!…read more This book box was provided by the students as a project for the graduating class of 2019. It's a well-constructed sturdy box located at the front of the school/church. It's right across the street from Shannon Center. The day that I visited it was stocked wirh hardcover, as well as soft cover books. The quality of the books is definitely superior to most other book boxes I have seen. There was a wide assortment of books all the way from juvenile to adult. Keep in mind that you can't legally park right in front of the box. However, you can park across the street. Thanks to the graduating class of 2019 for creating such a wonderful book box for the community!
