The box has small Christmas lights on the edges. I'll have to come back here at night and see if it really lights up. The day that I visited the box had all kinds of books, both kids as well as adults. I left them a brand-new hardcover book. This box was created by our local girl scout troop. At first, I wasn't sure if it was a Girl Scout or Boy Scout Troop but I looked it up on the internet and it is indeed a Girl Scout Troop. Bravo bravo! The library appears to be quite old, but seems to be holding up pretty well. Thank you Girl Scout Troop 32255 for setting up this nice little box!

As Brian Kemp was her opponent and also Secretary of State, Abrams lost when Kemp used his official powers to suppress votes that could have went to Abrams. **essentially a redux of the 2000 presidential election when Gov. Jeb Bush of Florida gamed the counting of the votes to ensure Daddy Bush would win. -after Obama's presidency, Republicans changed regulations in their states to disenfrancise voters likely to vote Democratic: minorities, young, students. -poll sites in minority communities or campuses had new regs to follow, less polling machines , limited hours to vote, new id's laws. -voting rolls purged of infrequent voters, former felons forbidden to vote, "matched" names (i.e. common minority names) purged from voting rolls. voters given provisional ballots which won't be counted, etc. --much more..all from her campaign + thoughts on electoral reforms. note: 3/2021-Georgia passed laws to limit absentee voting..

Wow Dublin, my hometown, finally has its first little free library book box!…read more This book box was provided by the students as a project for the graduating class of 2019. It's a well-constructed sturdy box located at the front of the school/church. It's right across the street from Shannon Center. The day that I visited it was stocked wirh hardcover, as well as soft cover books. The quality of the books is definitely superior to most other book boxes I have seen. There was a wide assortment of books all the way from juvenile to adult. Keep in mind that you can't legally park right in front of the box. However, you can park across the street. Thanks to the graduating class of 2019 for creating such a wonderful book box for the community!
