We enjoyed the afternoon care people. I can say for certain, teacher Cathy was an absolute joy. However, the director is a bit harsh. On a couple of occasions my wife and I got there without our presence being known and heard some very harsh tones used even on very small children.. the demeanor seemed to disappear when we made ourselves known. Unfortunately, the education aspect seems to lack. The field trips were fun for the kids, however, our youngest is in a much more structured preschool and the difference is so noticeable. BUT, the price can NOT be beat. 2 children, 3 days a week, from 7 am till 6pm was 576, where now we pay for 3 full days for 1 child at 450. If you are on a tight tight budget, the pre school is not bad.. but, it truly just depends on what you're looking for, and what you're willing to let slide.

I'm so happy I let them take my children for their first few years because they are way OVER prepared for school now. My oldest in first grade now is extremely intelligent and further along than majority of her classmates. She excels at just about everything, and it's the school that did this, not me. I decided to keep her there instead of going to TK so that she could be with her sister one more year and go straight to kindergarten and I'm happy I did. So she skipped TK but was still at the top of her kindergarten class because of this place. My youngest whom just started TK today was again BEYOND prepared and so excited for class. There were SEVERAL students crying, kicking, trying to run out and screaming in the TK classroom at her new school because they were not ever introduced to this type of environment possibly. My daughter walked in confidently, found her name and was able to hang her stuff up by herself and sit down. She even said "I love it here" meanwhile kids were having the worst day of their life. If it weren't for this preschool I know we would have been one of those struggling parents and children as well. If I had not had my older child already in first grade I would have opted to keep my youngest at this preschool instead of TK because of how great my child was doing and how much she loved it. Both children have moved on as of this year now however they wouldn't be as well prepared as they were if it weren't for this awesome school! Sometimes my oldest still tells me things like "I miss the tacos from preschool".... Apparently they make good food for lunch too for the kids and I can't replicate it it's been 2 years come on, my tacos are good too. They also utilize an app that lets you communicate with teachers and they post pictures from their days or fun activities which is such a nice thing to get notified to in the middle of work. They use classroom dojo to communicate with you throughout the day and answer almost immediately if you have concerns and questions. Ongoing staffing shortages have created unreliable care, including last minute capacity limits that result in families being turned away. The core issue appears to be how staff are treated and to be clear, this is not a reflection of the on site team, but a corporate level problem. Teachers seem overworked, under supported, and underpaid, which creates an unsustainable environment. This not only impacts the children, but also leads to high staff turnover and a lack of consistency in care. Families are paying premium rates, but the investment in staffing does not reflect that. Until there are meaningful changes at the corporate level to support and retain qualified teachers, I cannot recommend this center.

But Irene took care of her for me on and off from 1 to 4 year old and my daughter absolutely loved her. In fact, every time we pass by her house she wants to go visit. Every holiday she wants to take her a present. At first she would even cry for Irene when she stopped going. :( She's always willing to work with you if you néed to drop off early or pick up late.
