A week ago, I saw the advertisement for the new Smoke House pizza, "Hot-n-ready", and decided to pick one up at the closest Little Caesars on the way back home from shopping at Walmart. Everything went smooth until I pulled up to the drive-through window to make my payment. I was asked to pull up to the front and wait "5 minutes" for my Smoke House. 20 minutes later, the cashier brings over Smoke House pizza who realizes it belongs to another car waiting in the parking lot.. We (me, wife, and our 2 years old baby strapped in carseat) waited 20 minutes afterwards before we finally got our pizza. I complained to the lady (who identified herself as the manager in training) that brought the pizza how we waited 35 minutes longer than what we were told, who then signed on the receipt for a free pizza for the next visit. Despite the wait, we really enjoyed the bbq flavored pulled pork pizza, and the wife demanded that I bring a Smoke House pizza on my way back from work today. I went to the drive-through window and ordered my 'free' Smoke House pizza then was told to pull up to the front and wait.. again... I had picked up my kid from daycare and didn't feel like unstrapping him them going in and out asking if my pizza is ready, so I waited patiently in the car... for 50 minutes. Finally, I shot out of my car and walked in; apparently my pizza had been ready but the cashier (different person from last visit) had forgotten about me. A week ago, I was told that my order was delayed due to slow undertrained teenagers in the back; this time, the cashier didn't even bother to make an excuse. On the menu and advertisements they state that the Smoke House pizzas are "Hot-n-ready"... I don't know if it is this location and its employees or if the production of Smoke House pizza is slow as slug in general but I am not motivated to test it out ever again.. read more
