This includes Orthodox Church Services as well as the Bazar that everyone raves about. Fact for the reader's education: The reason of the split between what is today known as the Roman Catholic (Christian) Church and the Greek Orthodox Christian Church is this: The Pope decreed that everyone is born of Sin, meaning that even newly born babies and the most innocent of children are Sinners, and, therefore, they are Evil. Whereas Orthodox Christians (pre-"Roman") scoffed at this absurd notion. How can a newly born baby be Evil? How can our children be a bunch of little Sinners running about spreading the Evil inherent to them? Simple answer is that they cannot. Now, why the Pope chose to do this is an entirely different matter, and one that is best left to you, the reader, to discover.

The same woman taught the program for most of those 35 years, & still helps her daughter out, who is now the teacher for the program. We have recently moved to the lancaster county area, & were nervous about a program that would be even comparable to the wonderful preschool program that we had left behind when we moved. It was only by word of mouth that we found out about Precious Promise. They only take 12 students each year-no stringent testing-just the first 12 to sign up. We cannot say enough about this preschool!!! Our child loves it & adores the teacher. The teacher integrates clever & just simply wonderful (& fun!) projects into the curriculum. I could write pages & pages of a review with all of the different trips & projects that they do-that all integrate learning of letters, numbers & fine & gross motor skills. The only down side-it is only for children who will be entering kindergarten the following year, & the hours are 8:30-12noon, with either a 3 or 5 day option. Would love it if they had a program that would be at least 2 years-in any case-we'll take what we can get! We arranged a visit ahead of time-& were blown away-we registered our child immediately-& have been thrilled with it since.

Father Tom remembered our loved one with grace and humor, interjecting a little levity at appropriate moments. We knew our family member had remarked that Father Tom was his favorite priest, and now we all understand why. It takes a gentle man to lift a family out of grief, reminding that death is merely the end of one journey; Father Tom did just that. He collectively comforted, paid proper respect to our family and provided a transition for us all. Thank you, Father Tom. Ms. Amy Brown is a class act. I cannot say enough about her commitment, kindness and knowledge. We were lost until we stumbled into her guiding hands. She ultimately navigated us through a difficult week. Amy helped us say goodbye, but more importantly, encouraged us to share who our loved one was, and allowed us a great amount of flexibility and time to "get every detail just right." We are truly grateful to you, Amy. You were wonderful. Thank you from the family of Ernie Schiefer.
