    My son recently bought his first car from this dealership. There were a few hiccups, which resulted in us having to drive to Reno twice in two days from Gardnerville, which was pretty disappointing to my son to not be able to drive his new car home for two days in a row, but in the end they made it right, and ended up driving the car to our home to personally deliver it. We would really like to praise Mike from the finance team for really going above and beyond and providing excellent customer service. He worked very hard to make sure we ended up leaving happy. If it weren't for him, we probably would have just walked away from the deal, so kudos to Mike!

    Actually EVERYTHING went well! From my salesman Paul Bushnell , to my car teacher Devon Thomas & even the final finance guy ! I wish I had received a survey , I could only do a yelp. I tell everyone how great Subarus are & how great Lithia Subaru treats their customers! I just LOVE my new forester !!!!

    This is the 3rd time I come here for an Oil Change and Tire Rotation on my Subaru Outback and every time, the service has been outstanding. Actually, the whole experience was on another level today. I've never made an appointment. I just come in and wait at the Express Line and never had a problem. Today, I had a very short wait in my car, before one of the employees approached me and gave me a service Invoice to head inside. In prior visits, they processed the request for service outside by my car, but now, it all gets done inside the shop. Inside, there were various employees helping to check-in customers, so it all flowed very quickly. I was helped by Jennifer. She was very nice, gave me an estimate and told me it would be one to one and a half hours. I was o.k. with the wait, but recieved a call after 40 minutes, notifying me my car was ready. The whole process was very efficient and everyone was extremely nice and helpful. There is also a very nice waiting area with plenty of chairs. There are also drinks available, which is a nice touch. I'm surprised at some of the negative reviews, but I personally think this place does a great job!

    Excellent customer service! I came in on 8-15-2025 to have my vehicle serviced. I dealt with Jerry Saladis and he was very polite and friendly, and the entire process went smoothly! It's really nice dealing with people when they have a great demeanor, it makes me want to tell others about the business and return for service as well. Thank you

    No Appointment Necessary for Oil Changes

    You team needs to get their stuff together! This is the 3rd time I call to make an appointment for a Saturday, and I am told that I dont need an appointment and can just come in. I drive in from Truckee at 8am, Saturday, and get turned away. I am told I need an an appointment and sometime they can take walk ins?!?This is so frustrating. Not to mention your website says no appointments needed. Terrible customer service. Just when you think you guys are improving and actually care about your customers, then shit hits the fan all over again.

    Back for my 90,000 mile check and it was refreshing that the service writer was honest and said that since I took it in last year for a larger and more detailed service, nothing needed to get done just yet. Got off easy this time and more favorable stars for such honesty. Stopped in to look at the 2023 Ascent. Beautiful car and the price is not too bad. Going to keep that in mind when I decide to bite the bullet and get me a new car. I liked that I got no pressure from the sales person. I am very happy with my current Subaru and have had it for 7 years now. I like how it drives and it's reliability. Very positive Subaru experience this morning with setting an appointment on the internet and so on, mentioned above!

    It was time to get another car to add to the one we had and our truck. I don't always like driving the truck around town and warming it up when it is cold out. I used to own a Subaru Legacy that I loved so I decided to buy a Subaru. The Salesmen gave us lots of information to make a good decision. We were originally looking at a 2.5 L Crosstrek but after driving that and the Forester there was no comparison. The Forester was roomier and fun to drive. It really had power and some get-up-and-go. We went with the Limited trim level and it just fit us well. I like the fact the dealership was not pushy nor were the two salesmen we dealt with. We looked inside and talked with them about the two vehicles and then decided to go home and think about it. We made an appointment to drive both a couple days later. We both got to drive each one and we knew the Forester was for us. We asked lots of questions and they gave us a print out on the breakdown of costs so we could get a better idea of what we were willing to pay for and the items we did not need. The only part that was not clear was the out-the-door price that I was given did not include the doc fee and taxes and add-ons. I think that should have been included because it added several grand to the final price. The financial person was good and easy to deal with, just a pleasant personality. We had two Salesmen, Bardia who was a pleasure to deal with. Then he passed us to Troy, helpful in every way. Troy helped us after the sale to set up the tech stuff and answers all our questions when we text him. He doesn't drop you after the sale as he like to make sure you know all the features of the vehicle. I don't normally like going to a lot to buy a vehicle but I would not hesitate to buy here again. I will do an update as we get our new vehicle serviced. Thanks, Lithia Reno Subaru.

    I called this morning and no one has called me back, 1. Do I need an appointment for oil change and do you offer drop box service (where you can drive after hours, leave your vehicle and put your keys in an envelope and into a Dropbox)?

    My solution: I take my Suby to Hutch's. Same price and they wash your car inside and out. If at lunch time, there are good places to eat while waiting.

    Natalie, see if you can find my posting about Lithia. What started as a great experience spiraled down so fast, it wasn't really funny. Though we love our car, the details during/after the purchase left a rather unneeded after-taste.....

So then I decided to try valvoline..there's one down the street from me and i pass it alot and always been curious. They looked like a good company and I was right! I'm a uber driver so I need a oil change almost every other month so I need a good place that knows what they are doing and a decent price.. they checked all the boxes.. they are quick , good prices and the staff is always so nice and explains EVERYTHING to you.. from what they offer to what your specific car needs and what they can do there and they never pressure you into anything. They bring something to you attention and leave it at that. They even tell you what you dont really need or need at that time and not try to con you into getting something done just to get your money..they show you things as they are getting done and by the way, you dont leave your car as they work!.. I never feel dumb when I ask questions, never feel pushed into things, never feel like they aren't ever listening to me.i actually feel like they know what they are doing and aren't messing around. Amazing staff at this location. Most definitely will continue taking my business there.
