Tonight I'll climb into the large Spa in the room and relax with a glass of something with the fire roaring as the Autumn evening chill descends outside. The room, one of the Lake view spa rooms, the budget option, feels five star and is up there with any high end hotel. Apart from the friendly greeting I got at check in I've hardly seen a glimpse of anyone else here other than my wife and that's how I like it. There must be other people here though as there's a car park full of cars and the place was pretty fully booked when I found it. The downsides? For the first few days, I slept and had food delivered, and it was just what I needed. As I started to get well but was still contagious, I was able to sign into my own accounts on the SmatTV and even work at the table and desk provided nearing the end of my stay. While the room was small, it was comfortable and just what I needed. The housekeeping provided items I needed as well, leaving them outside my door as I was still contagious, including a toaster, a change of towels, extra tea and shampoo as I ran out.
