I was always happy with lister assister, however it is now changed to rocket lister and the quality of pictures were terrible. It took over a week to get appointment. VERY DISAPPOINTED!! This company has been my go to service for installing sign posts at my listings. First attempt they went out and installed the sign post ON THE SIDE OF THE PROPERTY in a common area managed by the HOA. Since when do we install a for sale sign on the side of a home??? I called to advise and was told they would be out the next day to relocate. They came out the next day and installed the post in the courtyard in front of the wrong property! Never attempted to maybe think to knock on the door to verify with homeowner or maybe look at the wooden address sign that is actually on the porch to my clients home! Clearly visible. Now we have a neighbor with a post hole and an area in HOA territory with another. Third time was a charm. Moving on I will find a more proficient company to handle the job for me. read more

This one star is for the photographer who shot photos for my client's house today. It was a horrible experience with her. HORRIBLE! I WOULD NEVER EVER WORK WITH HER AGAIN! NEVER! I am a realtor. This is the second time I used ListerAssister. Their customer service has been very good. The first photographer they sent out was great. He took some really good photos. And it was a pleasant experience to work with him. The photographer today, M. She had an attitude about me telling her that I do not want pictures that are too close. She said she has 2 years of experience. She knows what she is doing. I showed her the photos the last photographer took for another house and told her I hope she can take the bathroom photos like that. She told me the layout is different and she can not take photos like that. I suggested shooting a vertical instead of horizontal. She said she thinks the bathroom photo she took is the best. She doesn't think my idea is good. But she will take one in my way if I want. The vertical shoot turned out to be similar with the photo I showed her. Yet she said she couldn't shoot like that a few minutes ago. Apparently, she does not care/like realtors to express how they want the photos to be. She kept arguing with me the whole time. Like most of us, my home is my biggest asset and I want to make every dollar I can from the sale of it. When you're talking many hundreds of thousands of dollars even the smallest detail can be worth thousands, but I believe the pictures I use to help sell my house are not a small detail, but a critical one. I believe Lister Assister either doesn't understand how critical their role is, or doesn't care. Lister Assister refused to provide a window of time when they would show up, so no one could plan their schedules to be sure we and the house would be ready for the photographer's arrival. Lister Assister sent a text saying they were on their way only 30 minutes before they arrived. My realtor was more than 30 minutes away so couldn't get there, and I luckily just happened to be there working on some last minute touches on the house when they showed up. The house was not on lock box yet, so if I hadn't been there I guess we would not have any pictures. Lister Assister did not take pictures of the marble shower that I spent thousands on in order to help sell the house. They did not take pictures of my huge back patio that I had spent thousands to tile in order to help sell the house. They did not take pictures of the rare 4 walk-in closets other than the master. Of the 35 shots they were paid to take, they did however waste 2 pictures on hallways that no prospective buyer cared about. I wasn't even able to supervise what shots the Lister Assister photographer took because I was frantically picking up from my final projects. After we got the pictures we called Lister Assister and asked them to come back to take the shots they missed. Lister Assister refused unless we paid them another $100. No thanks, lots of folks have DSLRs and I was able to get the missing shots myself. I paid for pictures that would help me get more money out of the sale of my biggest asset. I used lister assister multiple times. On the last job the pictures didn't turn out as good as they usually do so I requested a re-shoot. Lister Assister was very helpful and scheduled a re-shoot and everything was taken care off quickly and without any problems. Final result was as good as I am used to. Do not use this company. They don't monitor the customer service level of their employees and do not know the meaning of the word rapport. The photographer who came to my house today was rude, insulting and very unhelpful. All I wanted him to do was point the camera and let me know if a box or object should be moved for that photo. There were very few items that fell into this category and I was going to move them myself. He told me he is a photographer and that I am rude to have him do anything other than take pics. When I told him I cannot see through his camera lens to see how the photo looked he told me that is because he is the photographer. Arrogant. Ultimately he told me I was rude, to clean my house (which was clean) and that my dog should not be there. Perhaps my dog is a good judge of character and that is why he did not stop barking. Lister Assister is a useful tool for agents as long as you live in a perfect world. If for some reason you have an issue and need to change the time or day forget about it! I have been working with them for Multiple years now and I am usually very happy with the pictures but god help you if you need to deal with your account representative. I scheduled pictures for twilight with drone shots. I got a text at 9:15 in the morning telling me the drone photographer would be arriving shortly. I was wondering if they had made a MISTAKE. I first text the photographer o.k. and then I called my husband and asked if it was o.k. for the drone photographer to take pics early? He said NO the dumpster and trucks are still here. I immediately hung up and called Will the drone photographer to tell him that it was NOT o.k. that he arrive early that we were not ready and were waiting on the dumpster to be removed. He told me there had been a lot of screwed up appt's since they had been separating out the drone photographer and the regular photographer for different times. I told him I had requested twilight photos and had gotten a call that explained there would be 2 DIFFERENT photographer's but that the times would still be the same TWIHLIGHT). He said he would call the office and explain the situation. Well after being a customer for quite some time and using them for all of my listings they told my husband too bad your wife called off the drone and you will still be charged $40 and no drone pics. It's a waste of time to explain to a buyer that the listing photos in "listerassister" listings do not depict true colors, such as cabinets, carpets, tile, and wall paint. It usually takes a little bit of instruction before my buyers understand that the "colored pencil" style photos are not the norm for professional agents. The photos are hideous and look ridiculous. If the carpet in a home is tan, it should be tan in the photos and NOT yellow. There are many other real estate photographers that take great photos and they don't look like a pre-schooler went crazy with colored pens. I would never use this company and I pass over listings that do, because buyers get upset when the photos are so far from reality. I've seen flip phone pics that are nicer than listerassister photos. Don't use them. read more
