Between the outstanding location, right in the heart of one of the most popular areas of Lisbon with easy access to food, shopping, nightlife, history, and entertainment, and the great use of space with good views of the Main Street on one side of the apartment and the castle on the other, this is an excellent apartment. It does get knocked down one star for not clearly stating in the ad that there's no elevator - I had a small suitcase and could walk up to the top floor - but those with mobility issues will find this a problem. The top floor also suffered for having sloping ceilings - especially in the bathroom where using the toilet proved an interesting challenge. This place would benefit if it had some sort of laundry facility - it would make it a stand out among Lisbon rentals. Anyone staying a week of more and only carrying a small suitcase is going to need some fresh clothes at some point! Air conditioning and wifi worked great; comfy beds and two TVs. Lovely little kitchen which I only used for the Nespresso maker and to enjoy the view. All in all, if you're looking for a good place to stay for a week or more while in Lisbon, Otilia is a great choice!

When the taxi dropped us off with all of our luggage (2 large suitcases and carry-ons) we went to check in and were informed that our reservation had been cancelled. We received no correspondence from them (we checked spam, etc. in our emails) and that was it. They said it was due to a covid event in the room, so our 6 night stay was cancelled. And we were left in the street with all of our bags and had to find other accommodations, which were seriously subpar. Anyway, I would never recommend this place and I have searched other websites with reviews and found at least five other people that had this problem.

Again the office reply was unfortunately there is nothing we can do about the air, perhaps open the window. It was 90 degrees, and the only answer was open the window and let more hot air in. The next day the other apartment door was open and air was blowing very well. I asked the maintenance guys hey they air over here is not working, he replied he is aware the hvac team will be out next week. So the company new the a/c wasn't working and still put us in that unit for the sake of money. I don't like businesses that do not give good service but want your hard earned money. I would NOT recommend this place to a homeless person. The customer service is terrible. 1st and last time. I hope they do better by their customers in the future

The apartments are bright and clean with great amenities and features, such as full size fridge and washer/dryer combo. But I think what really sets the Residentas Apostolos apart from any hotel is the service! We stayed in the one bedroom apartment for 4 nights with our 6 month old baby boy during a birthday trip. We had worked out the need for a baby cot with Inês ahead of time and when we arrived we found the cot setup and even a little stuffed pig ready for our baby to play with and keep (we've called the pig porco, Portuguese for pig and sounds a little like Porto...though that's confusing being "from" Lisbon). In addition we found the dining table set and a slice of cake, candle, and a card waiting for me. We hadn't mentioned that it was my birthday the day of our arrival, but getting the information off our documents they prepared the treat/surprise for us! The fridge had some basics like a few eggs, cheese, juice, and water. The kitchen had all the essentials, like dish soap, laundry detergent, tablets for the dishwasher, and all the plates and utensils we needed for our stay. Mid-way through our trip we also arrived home one day to find pasteis de nata waiting for us on the table as well! The Residentas team was also able to provide us with recommendations and setup airport shuttle service via Whatsapp whenever we needed them, and were always warm and courteous. And for only €60/night, we can easily recommend this set of apartments to everyone!

WARNING BED BUGS!!!!…read more This is another warning that this hotel has bed bugs. Please do not stay here unless you want to ruin your vacation. This has been a nightmare for us!!!! The manager Flavio Reis flat out denied any of our claims we had gotten bed bugs at his establishment. Terrible!!!! This place should be shut down.
