I wasnt gonna post anything until I went out a few weekends ago to find out I was bar banned in not only kelowna but vernon, kamloops, and who knows where else for apparently fighting people. Anyways rant to liquid zoo but specifically one their employees/owner (not sure his name but I have a photo). My friend and I were standing talking with an old friend she hadnt seen in awhile when a man grabbed my waist to move me out of the way i expressed my discomfort with that by saying "ew why did a man just touch me" not knowing he was an employee at all. He then proceeded to walk towards me and get very close so i back up and he wouldnt stop so i kept walking away and ended bumping into someone in a wheel chair but he still didnt stop walking towards me. Before I even knew it he had back me up into a corner just screaming in my face calling me all kinda of names telling me to get the f out then physically threw me out through the side door and when i got to the front door he kept pointing and laughing at me while i was bawling my face and so I started recording them and got pretty mad at them then he hit me and stole my phone and locked me outside the building alone and went to find my friends inside to give them my phone. I am bar banned for fighting and swinging on people and this just doesnt sit right with me when he is supposed be the guy who protects women from people like him so just thought I would share my story read more

I notice a ridiculous review rating of one. Keep in mind that the patron managed to spill a beer on the stage. That is hard to do given that the stage is about a foot above the counter where your drink should be. No wonder the bouncers remomoved this patron. So I think we should disregard that review. My experience has been recieving very professional and acomodating service at this business. They are better at what they do than any other stripper bar I have ever been in. This place is honestly awful. I don't live in Kelowna anymore but my experience here was the worst out of any bar I've been too. Rude staff and very dishonest I was drinking there one night with a few of my friends and I ended up spilling my beer on the stage while I was sitting front row and all the sudden 2 bouncers come over and pull me out of my seat and while they were kicking me out I had left my jacket on the seat and I had asked to go back and get it but they kept refusing so I got into a heated argument with the bouncer while I was standing on the street and I turn around and see a fist come towards my face from one of the bouncers and while I was on the ground I was also kicked repeatedly. GET A RECEIPT!!!!! THE SERVERS STEAL YOUR MONEY. I went to Liquid Zoo 5 months ago with my husband, thought what the heck lets go see some boobs. Order a Kokanee and a peach cider, server comes back says $18. My husband hands her a $20 and says keep the change. I'm like wow that's a lot for 2 domestic drinks, I go to the bar and order the exact same order we just got and it came to something like $15. Went to the manager and told him his server stole our money by saying the wrong total to get a bigger tip. He doesn't care, figures too. We haven't been back since. So last night my friends came to town and wanted to see some entertainment, figure give the Zoo another chance. We order a cider a single vodka and a pop. Total comes to $18.50. I ask the server for a receipt, she then tells me she can't get me one once its wrung through, which is total BS. I make her get me one any ways because I know she can. She comes back being super rude and tells me that I can order my drinks from the bar from now on. Well yeah that seems like the best option to not be ripped off and have my money stolen. The funny part was that when she came back with the receipt the total was $19.00 which is .50 cents more then what she had first said. My guess is she rang in the proper order seen it only came to $14 or $16 dollars and knew she was busted for stealing from us, so instead she rings in a double vodka, which we didn't order, a cider and pop. She then goes onto say I'll just give you your $3 dollars back and you can keep the double. It wasn't a double. Non of us were drunk either, which I'm sure she was betting on. All I can say is how often are they doing this, may seem like a little but do that to every table you have $3-$5 dollars then people tipping on top of that. That's steal in my books. read more
