Our child has been attending this all-ages daycare for two years, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. My family had the pleasure of being the first family to join the Lion's Pride community. I call it a community because that is exactly what it was and has continued to be for us. My husband, son, and I have no family within eight hours of Saint Louis, and yet since beginning at Lions Pride, we have never felt lonely. Let me paint this picture for you: you drop your child off to a loving family daily, to caregivers who never change. They provide healthy homemade meals and snacks. They teach your child everything they need to thrive and be kind to others. The only screen time they receive is enriching music videos that are often multicultural. Your child comes home teaching you bits of Chinese, French, and even Korean. You receive daily photos of their adventures and a daily narrative. Drop-off and pick-up are never rushed, and communication is always clear. What a dream! In today's world, the peace of mind I had about my son's care was priceless. I knew that he was happy, loved, and learning every day. Eventually, it was time for our son to move on to public Pre-K. And you know what? We STILL have this wonderful community! This daycare is AMAZING! Our kiddo had the privilege to attend Lions Pride for 2 years before we needed to move out of state; otherwise our boy would have remained at this daycare until he was ready to start school. Dave and Fei are an incredible team and provide so much love and opportunities for growth, both academic and social-emotional. They get lots of fresh air, exercise, and healthy food options. I loved the daily pictures they would send, which made it easier to have a conversation at the end of the day with our kid when asking what he did that day and not just get the typical "I don't know" or "I don't remember" response. I am in AWE of all Dave and Fei do in the setting of their own home; you can truly tell that they love what they do and care for the kids so much! They are so mindful about cultural inclusion and provide various exposure in the form of kid-friendly songs/videos, activities, and food. It is a tight-knit community and we became fast friends with Fei and Dave, as well as bonded with all the other Lions Pride families. I chose a daycare for my daughter based on three main criteria: 1. The teachers must care for children with love and warm attention. 2. There should be outdoor activities, with a bonus for opportunities to explore nature. 3. They should provide balanced and healthy side meals and snacks. Lions Pride met all my standards! David and Fei cared for my daughter with genuine love, which was evident in their interactions and warm eye contact. My daughter is confident in her social skills, which I believe were nurtured through their care. Thanks to their patience and care, my daughter was potty trained with zero stress and learned to communicate in English (she had no English skills when she started). The meals and snacks are real and healthy--such a contrast to other places that serve canned fruits. My daughter also had the chance to explore nature in various ways, which nurtured her curiosity and gross motor skills in the backyard playground. We are thrilled to have started with Lion's Pride Academy about half a year ago. David and Fei have created such a great community with all the parents and kiddos, and we feel lucky that our son goes to this great daycare/school. We LOVE Lions Pride!! You get the warmth and personalized attention of an in-home daycare mixed with the professionalism and structure of a school. The things we love most about Lions Pride are the daily reports and photos, the amount of daily outdoors time, and the emphasis on building social-emotional skills.
