It has a limited membership base so there is never a waiting line on whatever piece of equipment you want to use. It has a beautiful Olympic sized pool, sauna, kiddie pool and decent sized gym. In addition, there are also several tennis courts behind the pool. They could easily convert to the popular pickle ball and increase some much needed revenue! Theres also an indoor fitness room that can hold large fitness classes. The school board needs to entertain the idea to let a professional organization/gym fully run this to it's potential. Look at Anastasia Fitness in St Augustine. They have a smaller location and they are thriving with memberships. They too have a pool and outdoor gym (potential at Belle Terre) Many exercise enthusiasts prefer to be in the sun while exercising!!!!! Someone on the school board-please make resolutions and let's not see this beautiful place be destroyed or closed permanently! She worked her way up to a green belt, but eventually left to focus on figure skating and dance. Fast forward many years, and our daughter is now a trainee with Ballet Hartford in Connecticut. Within two weeks of moving to the city, she was assaulted while taking the bus home from work. But thanks to Mr Stan, our girl is no shrinking violet. She kicked the crap out of the guy and ran to a nearby coffee shop to get help. Needless to say, I can't recommend his training program highly enough. It was literally a life saver.
