I recently purchased a dining room table from Amazon that is sold by Linon Home Products. The tabletop had wood shavings sealed under the topcoat/finishing coat on one end of the tabletop. The table is warranted by Linon Home Products but they do not honor their warranty. I sent them pictures of the trapped wood shavings in the tabletops finish, proof of purchase and a picture of their quality control label from under the table. After furnishing all the information they requested, they informed me that their quality control team deemed there was nothing wrong with my table. I bought 3 Linon barstools from Amazon. The first one was pretty good as far as pieces fitting the way they should. it the screws to attach the seat were too short and not woid screws, and I had to buy the right ones. once out together that barstool was great. The second one was horrible-pieces were roughly cut and stems that should go into jokes were way to big so I had to sand them down to size. Hoping the third one will be better but nit holding my breath. Overall cannot recommend. read more

I purchased 4 barstools from JC Penney's which came from Linon. After approx. 7 months 1 stool started making a crackling noise which became louder and louder. I hardly use these stools so could not understand why the product was not holding up. Found out frame was sturdy but the board from inside the bottom cushion must have broke which was making the noise. Contacted both JC Penney's and Linon only to be advised it was out of warranty and received no follow-up. I offered to even purchase the bottom cushion with no response from Linon. Looking closer at the design there is no support underneath the bottom cushion in the middle to support any type of weight. Trey barstool read more

I have had a terrible time getting the correct, very small piece of hardware to put the door on a kitchen cart I purchased. They keep sending me the upper bracket instead of the lower bracket and customer service is only a voicemail. I faxed pictures of exactly what I need and now I am unable to talk to a real person to solve what should be a very simple issue. Very very frustrating! read more

Customer service is horrible. They do not response to your calls. We bought a hall tree and while putting it together discovered that the holes were not drilled correctly on one piece, so it would not make the connection to the other panel. We called leaving several messages and email requesting for a replacement part. You cannot speak to a human being, their voice mail says they will get back to you in 3 business days. We bought a Linon a Cayman 5 piece pub height table. We bought from Kmart. Very nice for the price, (surprisingly). It is all wood, no particle board. The reason I gave 4 stars was because the chairs where a little hard to put together. Over all I am tremendously happy with this set. read more

We saw the Bunk Bed Model #98247-VER-A-KD at a warehouse club just as we were preparing to transition our daughter from a crib to a real bed while visiting my in-laws eight years ago. It was several months before they could bring it to our home on their next visit. . . and one of the bed rails was split down its entire length. I emailed the company expecting to have to explain why I had not unpacked and inspected it during the warranty period, but without hesitation they sent out a replacement. The bunk beds were easy to assemble and functioned perfectly until I disassembled them to move my family to another state during which I lost a few of the barrel nuts that hold the bed rails to the head and footboards. I had long lost the instruction manual so emailed customer service to inquire where I might order replacements at my own expense. They quickly replied with a copy of the instruction manual asking me to be sure what parts I was missing. Once they were certain I had six (asked for four) free barrel nuts in my hands by the next business day free of charge! I'm not the kind of person who expects something for nothing and at the price I paid these bunk beds and the customer service that came with them have greatly surpassed expectations. I won't be surprised if my daughter takes one of these beds to college. read more

Product is not made of quality parts the chair I purchased broke the bearings came out if the wheels.

We bought a nesting table but returned it when we discovered the pre drilled holes were too big to hold the provided screws. We ordered another thinking it was a simple mistake. The second arrived and this table is jus so poorly constructed we are returning it as well and giving up. I don't recommend this brand. read more

Ordered a vanity and put it together only to discover at the last minute the mirror it came with was chipped badly. Been trying diligently to get ahold of someone to simply send me another mirror that isn't broken but even contacting this company seems to be incredibly difficult. I purchased 2 Linon Adirondack rockers. One had a defective part, and Linon would not replace it. There was no offer of money compensation. They only sell wholesale, and the store site that they were purchased from, also did no replacement. Very poor fulfillment of warranty; very bad business practices. Shop elsewhere. read more

Do not buy from this joke of a company. Their idea of costumer support involves never answering their phone (probably sits in a closet somewhere) and failing to send the appropriate replacement parts when requested. I purchased 3 Linon bar stools from JCPenneys in December, they arrived 1 month later, and 1 was damaged beyond repair as two of the legs were split vertically. Called multiple times, no answer, ever. Submitted request through there terrible website, jumped through there hoops then 2 weeks later a part shows up, not both, just one. They never communicated when they were shipping replacements, it just showed up, and unfortunately it was just one of the integral pieces I needed. I've been through this same BS 3 times now...and finally they tell me the last part I need is back ordered and will take 12 weeks... 12 WEEKS. DO NOT BUY A THING FROM LINON.
