I had a bad experience with a previous person from another company and perhaps was a bit dubious but he reassured me that I would be happy with the job. He was right. I was impressed that he stayed in touch. Other companies do a great job selling but then abandon you leaving you to work out things with the crew. He kept in contact and came to the job site to check on things. The crew was respectful and professional, Rafael, Felipe and Jorge great guys. Yes, I recommend this place.

A & K Floors and More recently completed a job for us and we could not be happier! We used Todd…read moreand his crew some years ago to design and install a couple of custom showers. They had beautiful tiles in their showroom and came up with some nice design features using natural stone and glass tiles. When our hot water heater recently flooded our condo, we interviewed a couple of flooring installers and choose A & K based on Todd's knowledge of the product, factors to consider in a high rise installation, and some excellent custom solutions he came up with for a few tricky areas. Chrisie, his designer and project manager was very patient and helpful throughout our selection process. We really had to put our trust in them as we live out of state and would not be able to monitor their work. They completed the project before we expected, on budget, and beautifully! Every detail is perfect! In fact, we even had a nice surprise in that our entire 3 bed, 3 bath unit was completely put back just like we left it - every piece of furniture, rug, and lamp right where it was supposed to be! We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend A & K Floors and More for any project you might be considering!

Shaun told us when he would start the job and approximately how long it would take. He started almost exactly when he said he would and he finished early. The best part was that he was meticulous in trying to make sure everything came out just the way I wanted. I told him that I was a bit picky with how I wanted the ceiling to look perfectly smooth. Without asking he did a couple extra skim coats of drywall mud to remove every last imperfection. The end result was excellent and he provided a hassle free experience. I would feel very comfortable hiring him again.

Can't give zero stars or would. Had initial meeting with Damian to discuss renovation and was given…read morea date of about 3 weeks later when we would receive a detailed estimate. That date came and went by several days. Called to follow up and was given another date. We finally received the total figure for project in an email from Damian...again late. We responded to his email saying his estimate was not attached and that our recollection from our meeting was that we would receive a detailed estimate. Got an email back from Damian that he was "taken back" by our response and he spent 6 1/2 hours on our estimate...he does not send out the estimate-we would only review that in a meeting at his office...blah blah blah. He then went on to say we would be better served by another builder!!!!! All because of a misunderstanding and that we asked a question!!! Dodged a bullet on this one! If Damian gets so upset over a simple question before securing the job, we shudder to think what he would be like to work with.
