0/10. I would not recommend this officiant to anyone.
Our officiant arrived 30 minutes late to our wedding, despite having a confirmed ceremony time and despite every other vendor arriving early or on time. Her lateness completely derailed our carefully planned timeline and created unnecessary stress on what should have been one of the most important days of our lives.
Because she was late, we were forced to skip our first look and lost valuable photography time. As a result, we were unable to get many of the photos we had paid our photographer to capture. Her delay didn't just affect us, it impacted every vendor who was working hard to stay on schedule and ultimately cost us moments we'll never be able to recreate.
To make matters worse, she mispronounced my name during the ceremony. After arriving late and throwing off the entire timeline, that was incredibly disappointing.
We invested thousands of dollars into our wedding, and her lack of punctuality directly affected services we had already paid for. I genuinely wish I had paid with a credit card so I could dispute the charge because I did not receive the professional service I expected.
Being an officiant is about more than simply showing up and reading a script. Punctuality, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential, especially when your timing affects every other vendor and every special moment of a wedding day. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below those expectations.
I cannot recommend her services. If being on time and helping your wedding day run smoothly are important to you, I would strongly encourage you to consider another officiant. read more
