The husband worked on me while his wife worked on my missus. They both did an amazing job of smoothing out all the knots and charley horses. It was painful but not near as much as before. They asked multiple times if the pressure was okay. Then toward the end, He used hot stones to smooth out the final knots and some of the soreness. I walked in limping and left feeling like I was a new man. My missus even had a smile on her face and didn't have hardly any pain left. Now first timers should expect some pain left over after a good massage because it stimulates the muscles and pulls them open to get rid of the knots. Drink 2 or 3 bottles of water and get a hot shower afterwards. I highly recommend this place for any work you need. They very professional and kind. They're super informal and maybe that's what bothers some people. Well I don't really care about aesthetics as long as I get a good massage. One of the best massages I ever got was in this little run down house in Cuba. I write all of that to say I've had many many massages all over the globe and this was BY FAR the best massage I've ever had! She asked if I wanted medium or firm and I said firm, and that's what I got! I left sore yet incredibly rejuvenated from her working my trigger points from my shoulder blades all the way to my lower back. Don't expect a fancy shower at the end, and I agree with what another person wrote, the door was cracked and the lady had to leave twice, they were super busy and it seemed a little disorganized, but if you are worried about skin showing you probably shouldn't be getting a massage. It didn't bother me one bit because honestly I needed a second from her working my shoulder knots. If you want an effective deep tissue I recommend a thousand times over. 100% will be back to this place.

I thought that it must be a fancy schmancy California thing and wanted to check it out just for fun. Couldn't get an appointment when I visited LA a few times. When I found out that Float was coming to Huntsville, I was obviously excited. Honestly, I didn't know what to expect before trying it. But I had fun floating in a big tub of water with 1000 pounds of salt in it. I played with the lights and the music options. They were all pleasant, but I preferred no light and music better. One thing I noticed is that my mind calmed down immediately after floating in the water. For the past couple of years, I have been practicing very hard to keep my noisy mind still in a meditative state. So, I really appreciated when I felt calm without much effort. I was also worried that closed lid might feel claustrophobic. But it didn't. Maybe because there was faint light seeping through the edge of the lid. One of my friends expressed disappointment when she tried it for the first time in a similar setting in Arizona. She complained of a back ache after the session and was not terribly happy about the whole thing. So, this might not be for everybody. But I feel that it is worth trying and keeping an open mind. I am definitely going to try it again and if I feel the same calm second time I am thinking of making this into a regular thing. Also, heard nice things about their massage options. Will definitely add it to the experience next time. This is a small place with 2 float tubs, a massage room and a sauna room. Well maintained and the person at the front is so warm and inviting. I have been told that this is a female owned small business. I am glad to have this in the area and I wish them a great success.
