My family is not native to California and when we came to Little Lions we had very little emotional or physical support. After having Henry in mid-2020, I was able to stay home with him for 14 months during the height of the COVID pandemic. I was understandably anxious to send him to daycare, but I can confidently say I left him in the best hands possible. Rosane, Jeorson, and Bia showed incredible patience, warmth, and dedication. They encouraged, nurtured, and loved our son every day from age 1 through 5. They fostered a truly caring and stimulating environment - teaching and intellectually challenging our son at his own pace. The curriculum and daily activities were thoughtfully designed to support his early development, curiosity, and social skills. Henry has now smoothly transitioned to kindergarten and I am positive that is due to the foundation he built at Little Lions. We look forward to the day we can send our newborn daughter to Little Lions next year.

All of the staff are extremely patient and skilled at helping children process their emotions. Guest teachers come regularly to teach mindfulness, art, and martial arts. The classroom is bright, inviting, and filled with a rotation of interesting activities, and the outdoor space is large and filled with vegetables and fruit trees that the children help plant, care for, and enjoy. Lisa NaiNai prepares the most delicious and nutritious lunch for the children with a menu sent out at the start of each week that would make any fan of Chinese/Taiwanese food want to partake. My daughter came home everyday excited to tell us about all of the interesting things she did that day and excited to show off her math and Mandarin reading and writing skills. We feel so lucky to have been a part of this community for the last 1.5 years and could not recommend it more highly for parents seeking a school where their children can thrive!

It gave me such peace of mind to see how quickly my child felt comfortable under their care. The combination of Montessori education and Mandarin immersion has had an incredible impact. Not only has my child started speaking Mandarin, but she can also recognize and write some Chinese characters. She has grown tremendously in independence and problem-solving skills. Watching her thrive academically and emotionally has been so rewarding. The cultural activities at AMCH, like celebrating Lunar New Year and the Mid-Autumn Festival, have also been a beautiful way for my child to embrace and appreciate our heritage. Xina Laoshi, along with all the teachers and staff, go above and beyond to support each child's unique journey. I can't recommend AMCH enough. It's a place where my child has truly blossomed, and I am so grateful to be part of the AMCH family.

Another parent told me they was told that they were selling the business but they told us nothing and I should've known cause they had so many red flags I ignored and I will never have anything to do with them again. Most likely they got shut down for multiple violations. They don't even deserve 1 star but I had to give them 1 to submit this review. They have no integrity and make your kids sleep all day and wait last minute to change his diaper when we arrive to pick him up. The nerve of these people.

The owner/director left the state without naming a replacement, leaving the center without clear leadership. Around the same time, tuition increased nearly 30%, while the quality declined, especially food -- kids were regularly served boxed mac and cheese and sandwiches. We experienced frequent early pick-up calls for very minor, age-appropriate behavior (not sharing toys, birthday party comments), while hitting was normalized as "kids being kids." Some 3-4-year-olds were expelled for normal play under unclear rules. After raising concerns about the lack of direction, our enrollment was terminated. The teachers are good, and Miss Ale is excellent with the kids. However, I would strongly advise parents to be cautious about the current management and leadership, especially if you plan to speak up.

The summer program they had was one of the best summers of my life with many fun games, much time spent playing, and lots of fun.

I love Fuzzy Caterpillar…read more Curriculum: They have a garden and my daughter knows how plants grow. They hatched chickens in the classroom for fertilized eggs. My child knows all parts of the egg. I don't know what a chalaza, but my daughter does. When she was 4, she learned about Rosa Parks. She has been on the bus with teachers and has seen the US Hornet. They hatch butterflies, have police and fireman come, have animals come. They teach conflict resolution early. Trust me it is noticeable when you go to playgrounds. She writes her letters almost as good as my 2nd grader who did not do the presentation k class at fuzzy. Healthy Kids: My son never came home with diaper rash from someone not changing his diaper. They play outside and have an awesome Facebook group run by the parents for disease control. Food: There food is cooked onsite in their clean kitchen daily and nutritious. There is a small fee for lunches to be included. Friday you have to bring you own. They watch for allergy causing food, if you tell them. Working Parent Coverage: When my children started at Fuzzy, my husband and I were both working. They provide 7AM-6PM coverage. They also have pizza movie night once a month on Friday for that "oh-so-allusive" date night you and your spouse keep talking about. Management: The school is run by two sisters who have or are sending your their own kids there. Even when my husband lost his job and we had to drop out for a while, they worked with us to give us the most coverage they could without hurting their business. They also welcomed us back with open arms once we recovered. I have never noticed anything wrong with their administration. I get my tax documents on time to deduct the childcare expenses for my taxes. Tuition: This is the hard one. This is not the cheapest pre-school. My husband and I though many times we could find a less expensive one. We looked at the quality of care and the kindergarten readiness. It was not worth it to move. We could not find a comparable that offers what Fuzzy offers. For example, I had my daughter assessed by AUSD and the assessor said my daughter's language processing skills were off the charts advanced. I blame Fuzzy. Advice to Parents: Sign-up for a tour. There is a waiting list. You may have to be patient and wait, because in this parent's opinion-they are that good. It normally took a month to a month and half to get in, but if you call in they will tell you where they are on the list. They have regulations on how many kids they can take based on the number or teachers and the licensing board. Overall Summary: My kids are happy and my son still runs to his old teachers even though it has been 4 years since he has been at that school. They love your kids.

The teachers truly care about the children, and our youngest actually ASKS to go to school now to be with her friends -- which says it all. There's always something fun happening, from themed events to special sensory activities that keep the kids excited to learn and play. We've made great friends through the community and are genuinely sad that our time here is coming to an end. If I HAD to mention one area for improvement, it would be around the daily communication and admin updates -- but honestly, that seems to be a common theme for most daycares on the island. Overall, we're so grateful for the care, kindness, and joy this daycare has brought into our children's early years and especially during COVID. Highly recommend!

5 Stars - Truly Grateful for Little Seed Children Center…read more My daughter started at Little Seed Children Center about 6 months ago and I couldn't be more pleased with how much she's been learning and growing. Of course, things come up occasionally, but honestly, what household or community runs perfectly at all times? What I deeply appreciate about LSCC is that everything they do is grounded in strong values: honor, respect, and genuine care. Just as important, they embrace humanity. When things aren't perfect, I see it as an opportunity for learning for both myself and the staff, and that is something rare and valuable. The best part of LSCC is that they truly work with you as a team. Not necessarily like "family" in the cliché sense, but in a very real and supportive way. I had a couple of challenging moments at drop-off, and Ms. Sarah stepped in with incredible support. She has this remarkable ability to balance structure with compassion, knowing exactly when to hold firm on guidelines and when to extend kindness to parents navigating tough days. I am sincerely grateful to all the staff, to Ms. Sarah in particular, and honestly to the universe for leading me here. I see children the same age as my daughter who haven't reached the developmental milestones she has consistently surpassed with the help of LSCC. That speaks volumes about the quality of their approach. Nothing in life is ever perfect. Kids get sick, challenges happen, but LSCC handles it all with a grounded, reality-based approach to caregiving. What matters is the net positive impact, and for my daughter it has been tremendous. They have created an environment where she is thriving, and for that I will always be thankful. Especially for Ms. Sarah!

It's a community where kids and adults make life-long connections, learn, and grow together. Long-time teacher/directors, Lori & Michelle, are this wonderful blend of experience and enthusiasm that is hard to find in today's world of high teacher turnover. They've both been at Kiddie Kampus for more than a decade and the knowledge they bring is invaluable. What's even more exceptional is that their passion for early childhood education has not appeared to wane and only grows with each new group of children they meet. They are always updating their knowledge and imparting the newest techniques and practices to their students and their grown-ups. Their truly play-based philosophy/curriculum is so much more than children of the same age entertaining themselves for a few hours a day - each activity has a well thought out purpose behind it, each toy, art project, play area is added to the program with care and intention. My kids -both with wildly different personalities and learning styles- have flourished here. Getting to know and trust other families, feeling connected to (and comfortable with) other parents makes this so much more than a school to us. Being able to be a part of your child's earliest social and educational moments is priceless and has given us so much joy. We are deeply grateful that we were in the position to make Kiddie Kampus Co-op work for our family. The membership obligations required a little bit of juggling, but it was more than worth the effort to be an active part of our kids' first years in school - a time we know we will never get back. Dare I say that working at the school (even when it involves more mud, worms, and being "poisoned" by "magic potions" than I would usually want to tolerate) is actually a lot of fun and my kids aren't the only ones making new friends!
