Incredible views from the 56th floor of the Ritz Carlton. The decor, food and service were topnotch. It is super noisy. Try to grab a table near the windows for a dramatic view of the largest city in North America. We shared a bunch of appetizers and a few bottles of wine. If you want to see the spectacular night time views of CDMX, definitely head here.
Food and views! I celebrated my 30th birthday at Ling Ling with an incredible view of Mexico City. The food and cocktails were delicious. We ordered an old fashion, lychee cocktail (una dama para recordar), a sushi roll and kung pao chicken. At first, we were seated in a long table where more than one party could sit. Later on, the waiter realized we were there for a special occasion and sat us near the window with a view of the nightlights at the bosque de Chapultepec. Service in Mexico has always been top tier and this was not the exception. After we were done with the meal, our waiter so kindly took us to a hidden lounge where there was an even better view from up top. He even took photos of us and told us to take our time to enjoy the view. Overall, the food was great, sushi was fresh, drinks were too and ambience was incredible. I would highly suggest this restaurant for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion while in Mexico City.
Went here for the view and it was breathtaking! We got the Dumplings crujientes de langosta which were crispy but the filling was a bit dry, and a sushi roll that was mediocre. We also tried the Si Señorita cocktail which was more on the bitter side and the Viaje a Tokyo cocktail which was sweet and refreshing. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I would go back for the views and to try other drinks.
If there is anywhere to go in Mexico City for an out of this world dining experience it is ling ling located inside the Ritz Carlton. Featuring immaculate interior dining decor filled with beautiful plants and vaulted ceilings. Excellent service where the staff will attend your every need. Also featuring easily the best view of the city. I highly recommend going at night to see the city skyline and also recommend getting reservations. You can typically get a table the night before. All of the dishes are Asian cuisine and everything was delicious. Everything we had was incredible and had great flavor. I cant wait to go back to Mexico City for more future dining experiences here.
Located on the 56th floor of the Ritz Carlton Hotel. So it has a view of the city and has an exceptional ambiance. Perfect for a date night or a group dinner. The menu selection is perfectly balanced between Japanese and Chinese dishes. The servers were attentive and friendly. The only reason I can't give it a 5 stars is because the chicken kung Pao and siumai were overcooked that it was like eating a cardboard.
First of all the view this place has is amazing. Try to get reservations at sunset. Groups cannot sit outside- it is reserved for 2 person parties. We came for pre-dinner cocktails- the lychee martini was so delightful I had 2! The tuna tartar sushi was very good, truffle sushi (can't rmr other ingredients) was very good as well. Tasted very fresh.
Always a must when visiting Mexico City. It's at one of the top floors at the Ritz so you know it will be nice. The view is amazing. No matter what time you go. At night you see the city lights and during the day or sunset you can see the whole city, even the castle which is my favorite. I also love the inside of the restaurant. The food is also so good. I always have to get the spicy tuna Crispy rice. It's easy to mess that up but the rice is a perfect amount of crisp and the tuna is not fishy. We ordered the grab cakes and that was not my favorite. It had a mustardy sauce which I'm not a fan of and the cakes were pretty fishy. Besides that everything else was great. We also ordered the vegan xo noodle and the veggies were the star of the show. They were all amazing and so was the ling ling roll.
Ling Ling exceeded our expectations. The breathtaking views alone justified our visit, and the "Si Senorita" cocktail stole the spotlight - a unique and amazing experience. Among the restaurants in Mexico City, Ling Ling stood out as a favorite, offering not only delicious food but also a reasonable price point compared to nearby establishments. Also the ambiance at Ling Ling was perfect, enhancing our dining experience amid stunning views and delectable food. Our servers Erick and Francisco were great and made sure we had the best experience dining.
Honestly, the perfect date spot... though I went with a friend and left my 'date' back in the United States. They were able to move us from a so-so table to a table with a gorgeous view when we asked nicely, and every single course was delicious. Servers were great too. Will 100% return the very first night I return to Mexico City.

First of all, the ambiance is soo vibey, dim lighting, beautiful interior decorating, and an amazingggg view of the city. The restaurant is located on the 53rd floor of the Ritz-Carlton, after a few elevators that a receptionist will point out for you. We came here at night so we had a fantastic view of all the city lights. Definitely ask the wait staff where you can walk on the balcony to get a great view and great pics of the city scape. Servers were great & attentive. Food ended up being about $100 USD per person, but definitely worth the price point! They serve non-traditional Asian fusion food, they had some pretty interesting dishes that impressed us: - side order of shrimp tempura: the tempura is perfectly light and crispy. - Xiao Long Bao: this had tom yum soup flavors and lobster, a unique combo! - Seared Salmon Roll: seared and soy-sake glazed salmon, crab, wasabi, asian pear, avocado; we thought this was a more basic roll, but still tasty - Toro Nigiri: toro is our favorite sushi so we had to try it here, they serve it torched with a sauce, but I think we would have preferred it raw. - Szechuan Ribeye: a perfect steak dish. They cooked it perfectly medium rare and the sauce was so flavorful. The steak could be a little underseasoned, but the sauce makes up for it.

As someone who evaluates dining experiences through atmosphere, precision, and service as much as flavor, Ling Ling delivered on every level during my dinner visit on June 10, 2025. Located near Chapultepec Castle, the arrival itself feels curated. Guests ascend before reaching the top of the building, where the restaurant opens into a refined yet relaxed setting. The ambiance blends modern elegance with subtle traditional influence, creating an elevated but welcoming space. Service was exceptional from the beginning. The staff introduced themselves, and the manager personally visited our table to inquire about allergies and ensure we felt comfortable throughout the evening. That attention to detail immediately set the tone. Our server was knowledgeable, guiding us through specialty dishes and offering thoughtful recommendations. Throughout dinner, the staff anticipated needs without hovering a distinction that separates good hospitality from great hospitality. The Ginger Glazed Salmon stood out as the highlight. Fresh, well-executed, and balanced, the ginger glaze provided gentle sweetness without overpowering the natural flavor of the fish. The Kung Pao Chicken was equally memorable, delivering depth and excellent execution. Additional dishes including duck, gyozas, and fried rice were well presented and properly tempered. Pricing reflects both the culinary quality and the full experience. This is a restaurant suited for special occasions, yet impressive enough to revisit whenever in Mexico City. Come here for the views on the outdoor patio and you won't regret it. How to get here: take elevator to the lobby of the Ritz and there is a separate one to go up to the restaurant on the left. Food was decent - I really enjoyed the wagyu fried rice. You don't really need a reservation if you're coming for lunch. Recommend checking this place out if you want a break from the Mexican cuisine. read more

Everything at Ling Ling was amazing we made reservations and were sat rather quickly, we were there to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday we were a group of 6. The drinks, the food, the views from the 56th floor and the dessert tower everything was amazing ! I can not recommend it enough. read more
Is rare that I ever say a restaurant is perfect. This is a must. I was late to my reservation and they still accommodated me , I did have to wait a while because this is a busy restaurant and that is my fault. However they still got me a table and Alfredo was so nice to sit me in a room to have champagne while I waited for a table and very attentive. Alan was also very attentive and kept checking on me until I got a table and was my server later on and I was so lucky to have him because he was so nice and attentive! All of the food was amazing , chefs kiss. My daughter is a picky eater and she ate it all. Beautiful views of the city. Couldn't have picked a better spot for my birthday ! Ambiance was great, food was great, service was good enough for 5 start but probably weakest point, and views to die for. On the 56th floor and our view was out towards the park. Have been this high up and higher in Manhattan and Seoul. Can't say anyone is better than the other. Must visit if only for the views. read more
The absolute best meal on our trip. We had 10 people and ordered everything to share as family style. The sushi was the most underwhelming of items but everything else was great. We tried the shishito peppers, gyoza, chicken wings, sushi, dumplings, fried rice, duck bao. Everything amazing. For a group of 10 service was also very prompt. Wow, what a restaurant. This is an amazing place to visit if you want a 5-star meal. When you get to the Ritz, Carlton, you'll have to take a few escalators or elevators to get up to the restaurant, but once you arrive, the receptionist will welcome you with a nice tasty drink. It took quite a while for us to get our table, even though we made a reservation, but in the meantime, we were able to sit by the bar, and enjoy the ambience. The Restaurant is pretty dimly lit, but if you come in the evening, you can see where others are sitting by the window to take in the gorgeous night view. Once we got to our table, we ordered some more drinks, there are quite a few of the showy drinks that involve smoke or fire, or some performance element - tasty! We ordered a bunch of dishes for the table instead of focusing on one appetizer, we got dumplings, cauliflower, shishito peppers, and a few other things - every single item was delicious. If you are a table of two, I would highly recommend trying to get a seat by the window so that you can take in the gorgeous view, but there are lots of seat in the atrium as well, which is equally gorgeous. This was one of the last places that we had lunch while staying in Mexico City. It's located in the Ritz Carlton and it's on the top floor. The food is just hmmmmmmm amazing. Everything that we ordered came out very quickly and it was absolutely delicious. The sushi was very fresh and the staff was amazing! From brining out our drinks to prepping the table the servers were on top of their game! I must say we ordered way too much food but, it was worth it. In USD it was about $500 total for all the food that we ordered. I must say women love to eat... a love language I would love to come here at night. This definitely seems like a date night place. We knew this place was high end, it didn't expect so be so amazing. The views from this restaurant are simply breathtaking. The went above and beyond to decorate the place giving you an overall experience. The food was amazing and the drinks were very original. We ordered a variety of appetizers and none of them disappointed. My only disappointment was not coming here on an empty stomach. A must visit if in Mexico city. read more
Considering this was in The Ritz hotel and was recommended to us it fell a bit flat in the sense that's we expected more from a high end restaurant. The service was all over the place and miss communication between staff. The food overall was fine . The sushi being good . The rest we had was fine. The cocktails weren't all that either for the price. I ordered a Paloma and was truly disappointed when they bought me a can of soda to add to my tequila. My friend ordered a cocktail she was told wasn't sweet but it was . The tuna was a good appetizer and the dumplings . The sushi was really good . We had spicy tuna and the veggie rolls were good too. The ramen noodle soup was good but not much flavor . The best part was their amazing dessert the raspberry Charlotte was a sight indeed! One of those they melt down with hot raspberry sauce over the white chocolate sphere. Revealing the fabulous cake which was truly decadent. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the ambiance. I can't say enough about this place! It has everything going right! All your senses are engaged! From the beautiful decor, to the view of the city scape, the impeccably dressed staff and the absolutely amazing food! We had a party of four and we were sat in the back of the restaurant where the views were breathtaking. We started with appetizers and had a little bit of everything! Chicken gyoza, edamame, hamachi! The gyoza was delicious and had a to die for chili sauce on top of it. The hamachi was perfectly sliced and fresh! For entrees, I was boring snd had kung pao chicken, but it did not disappoint! The rest of my party had different plates and all were a delicious ride through food! read more

Ling Ling is Wow Wow!! The best part of this brand new restaurant in Mexico City is... Everything! Literally... Obviously the food is mouth watering delish, we had The steamed edamame and several sushi's, The Kung pow chicken... But the chocolate cake with the cookie crumble and gold leaf on top absolutely sealed the evening into perfection... This treasure is on the 56 floor of the Ritz. The views are some of the very best the city has to offer. The music was spot on and kept us grovvin at our table all night long... the lighting and architecture of this place will make you feel like you are in a love affair, seriously ... read more
Really fun vibes and beautiful interior inside the Ritz! It was a bit hard to get to as you have to get inside the Ritz first and take a few elevators. However, the views are great and there are plenty of different seating options. The food is Asian fusion with many options for everyone. I ordered edamame dim sum, some fish "tacos" and a few rolls. Overall, everything was pretty good but nothing jumped out as amazing. Service was quick and everyone was very nice. I do want to go back to try the other dinner menu items as well as the desserts. I saw some other tables ordering and the rice dishes looked great! I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a fancy dinner with a view! read more

Terrible service. You'd expect more from a restaurant in such a location. Ruins your dinner for the manager to come argue with you about why you should like what she gave you. In Beverly Hills, Newport Beach, Manahattan, Miami Beach, or Tokyo you wouldn't have to deal with this. read more

Phenomenal, romantic, amazing and just exceptional service here!! Best place to come to the food is so flavorful, and the drinks are delicious. I celebrated my birthday tonight and they were the sweetest people ever. Definitely make reservations by the patio you won't regret the amazing views of the entire city we will be coming back soon. An amazing experience in Mexico City with one of the best views you could imagine. We booked a table for 2 for 6:30, and was able to watch sunset over the city. Food was amazing, as were the drinks. Pricey, but well worth it. read more

I was actually really nervous to come here after reading a handful of bad reviews on Google about the service, but I went and was not at all disappointed. From the minute you walk in the doors and (try to) figure out the elevator system, you'll find staff in the building and the restaurant to be extremely warm, welcoming, and personable. The ambiance is incredible. It's definitely a very instagrammable location if that's what you're looking for. The outdoor patio where you can sit and observe the view was unreal. I love that you can either dine out there or walk around/ sit if you aren't fortunate to be seated out there for your meal. As far as the food goes, everything I had was incredible. A friend and I split the fried chicken, the birria soup dumplings, the bone marrow rice, the crab dumplings, and the scorpion roll. The presentation and flavors of everything was unreal. This was a true fine dining experience. I hope to return if I'm ever back in CDMX! read more
