What a horrible place, after my teenage daughter was on the waiting list for years because they…read moresaid he wasn't taking new patients. I never got a call. When I call them years later questioning this waiting list, I'm told I have to answer some questions to see if he will accept her. Apparently he will only see patients he picks. She was not accepted he sent a horrible letter basically saying see someone else. The mental health around here is terrible. This so called doctor is a joke. When you go to medical school you agree to help everyone. He apparently is too good to help a teenage girl. I've heard he's not a very good psychiatrist now I know that's true. Also calling the office staff they give you an attitude like they're doing you a favor just answering the phone. If you want good mental health get out of west Texas because these doctors do not care one bit about anything but money.

The medicine Decisions were easy to resolve and set up but his advice and recommendations baffled me and seemed impossible to act on.... He definitely knew my flaws and was willing to baby step me into the world with my head held high even though he knew how uncomfortable I might be doing it. Looking back, I can honestly say, he knew exactly what I needed to hear and said exactly what I needed to hear knowing I wouldn't like it but definitely needed it....I'm so glad he took a chance on me and helPed me grow into the confident independent woman I've grown to be and that he knew I could be. He is a very wise man and 9 1/2 times out of 10 he's right. If you Give him a chance and blindly push through the harsh and "hard to hear" facts he talks to you about, you will eventually look up to see your life improve baby step by baby step as your learn to incorporate his wisdom into your daily life. I promise! He's really that good!.

Abilene, Texas facility. Our family had to take an elderly…read morefamily member into this facility for answers on a change of mental health. The situation was extremely difficult and one we weren't looking forward to facing. With the advice and help from our physician, we were able to call and speak with an employee at the facility who helped locate a room for our family member. The employee told us we could bring our family member in asap. When we arrived, the receptionist abruptly and sharply asked "Yes?!?" as we approached her window. Our response was our loved one's name and the lady behind the glass shrugged, raised her eyebrows, and asked who sent us. We told her we had spoken to a man who worked there and she rudely interrupted asking "him?!?", "what man?!?" and then added "Uhhh, there are no men working in that area today!", as she was wincing her lips and shaking her head to everything we tried to explain before being cut off in mid answer to each of her many questions. After finally working through to the answer of who it was who we had spoken with over the phone earlier in the day, and what felt like an arguing match with said receptionist, we were, finally, issued paperwork to fill out and a woman came out to take blood pressure. The entire initial process felt like we were nothing but a bother. Finally, after listening to how the receptionist used a similar tone to another person who entered the facility to retrieve belongings of someone who had just been "released" or "discharged", we, as a family, decided to withdrawal our choice to use this facility. If this is the sort of treatment upon intake and is "The Face" of the establishment, what does treatment for the elderly, behind the closed and locked doors look like? That is a chance we could not take and we walked out with our family member along side us, just after Receptionist tisked her lips at us for the last time. Blood pressure girl came flagging us down outside to quickly sign paperwork to say we chose otherwise. But, she said they had other similar complaints about the same receptionist. Which made me wonder why that issue had not already been addressed if, in fact, it is not a tolerated behavior among staff members? We later received a phone call of apology from the department head of receptionists who assured us that "said receptionist" would be "handled speedily by going back through training." We then were offered to choose their outpatient treatments.

THERE WERE MEN IN THE ROOM! FIRST TIME: 3 men 3 women, didn't take off my underwear or other things besides my shirt and pants but the men were looking at me while I was being undressed, SECOND TIME: 4 men 2 women, this time they took off everything and the men still looked at me and never looked away, one of them fucking held me down when I was fucking naked and was on top of me. I was FUCKING traumatized and after a while, I acted like nothing happened but I felt like it was my fault it happened and they violated my privacy and didn't even give me an explanation for why they took my clothes off in the first place. (They put scrubs on me so I wasn't naked in "the chair") I FUCKING HATE this place, IT DOESN'T EVEN FUCKING DESERVE ONE FUCKING STAR!! NEVER let your loved one come here and stay here, for their safety, please find another place.
