06/22/20 Approx 7pm My GF who is a essential worker (CNA) just tested negative for Carona after being positive called Lindt's taxi and was refused service by a dispatcher who claims he's a retired police officer. Your company should treat all passengers the same asif all have Carona. Drivers should wear gloves and masks, drive with windows open have partition between passenger and driver. Lindy's assume all passengers have Carona or go out of business . Be the solution not the problem be professional . read more

I used this service because I had a lot of issues getting an uber and I even had an uber driver cancel on me. I called lindy's and was greeted well over the phone They said they'd be 30 mins they showed up in 20 mins Which made me very happy. The driver was so nice and talkative and very patient because I had to get to an ATM and had to go to a few places to find an ATM that worked. I Never got the gentleman's name but I appreciate his patience. read more

Even one star is generous! I called a taxi an hr in advance to catch my train (about 15-20 min away with traffic) and was told someone will pick me up in 15 but apparently this means 45 minutes! Then the ancient driver decided to drive 50 miles an hr, made me miss said train and caught an attitude when I paid him the generally normal amount saying its 10$ more! In what world? 'It varies from dispatchers.' What? That's acceptable?! On another occasion, I called a taxi and was told they'll b right there. 20 min goes by, i call again and they're on their way. 20 more minutes I call again, and apparently a driver came and no one was there. The blatant lie! I was outside the whole time! Never ever ever again. And I live about 10 minutes away from their office! read more

Ripped off twice. The first time I asked the dispatcher how much; he said $50. When I got to my destination, the cabbie charged me &60. The second time, the dispatcher told me $60. At my destination, the cabbie couldn't break two $50 bills, so we agreed to use my credit card. The cabbie filled out the form for $72, saying the extra $12 was to cover the cost that VISA charges for the transaction; that's a 20% fee. VISA only charges around 4%. Also, on the second event, the taxi was 20 minutes late, and the cabbie told me that it was not his problem, a dumb thing to say to an already-pissed-off customer. read more

The worse taxi company i've ever dealed with...the dispatcher is rude and the service is never prompt...the company should definitely work on their customer service skills because it sucks big time! Please STAY AWAY and do not use their business. On top of being nasty and rude, the driver Angela (a black female) said very inappropriate sexual comments, and she was trying to swindle drunk customers for a bigger tip in the car ride from the Moose Lounge. I got out of the car as fast as I could, and tried getting a new cab from the company, and the phone service guy's were nasty and rude and left me out in the middle of nowhere at night. Will never be using them again. They are always late no matter what. You could be five minutes away and still be waiting around at least 20 minutes. You're lucky if they even show up at all. Most of the time when I call them once a week they don't even have taxis available to send out, or at least that's what they say. Not to mention, their drivers are a bunch of creeps. One driver in particular had me scared for my life in the five minutes it would take to get from point A to point B. He had been arguing with dispatcher over radio about picking up a passenger that was already picked up by another cab, and was yelling and cursing the whole time, even after argument was over. Couldn't wait to get out of that car. I've been late to my own job twice now because of them, with other times cutting it close. I will say that while walking 15-20 minutes to work is an option, being physically handicapped makes it a bit difficult. However, I would rather walk now. The first time, a few months ago, I went outside and waited as soon as I hung up with the dispatcher, who always has an attitude as if he is angry at the world. Not a single car came in or left where I had been sitting on the curb, I would have seen the taxi if it had been there. I call them up asking how long until my cab arrives, and the dispatcher said the driver was there and left after no one came to the car. In the background of the phone conversation I hear the driver say "F it, I'm not going back." I explain that I had been waiting outside, and am told something along the lines of "it says he was at the location," which is a total lie, and that they couldn't drive back. The second time only happened earlier this afternoon. After almost a half hour of waiting I call them up and am told it will be a few minutes. 20 minutes later, still no show. By this point I am 45 minutes late to my job and feeling very stressed. Afterwards, I was sort of glad that they didn't show up so I would no longer have to give them any of my money. read more

The worst cab company in Long Island. Rude and they hung up on you before you finish talking and they always lie about the time if they tell you 20 min expect 2 hours, one time I waited 3:41 min. read more

They know I am on crutches. They left me waiting for 45 minutes in zero degree weather. I couldn't get back to my house. Fortunately a neighbor rescued me. Use A-Cab service instead. read more
