As tasty as it is for Düsseldorf it falls short of great hot chocolates found in Paris such as Angelina which arguably is the best hot chocolate I tried in my life. That said I never had a frappe of this quality in Europe. with grade a chocolate. It was certainly a refresher on a hot day without air conditioning in Germany. I bought fruit chocolates such as mango raspberry and blueberry from the shop attached to this. I had one sampling and was floored by how great the mango chocolates were. Each chocolate was a euro a piece so it wasn't too expensive for the grade. I'm looking forward to having a few of these when I return. If anything at all this place is located in the heart of altstadt so it's definitely worth a trip - at least to look at the cute design.

we were here in May 2024 for my nieces wedding and this place was across from our hotel…read more if you are going to old town dusseldorf make this stop a must. take the bus or whatever it's easy to travel here. the area is so cute to walk around and eat drink and smoke if you like cigars. i'll have to write something nice about the cigar bar next but this place !!! DO NOT SKIP ! great gifts and don't forget yourself !
