Their is a big playground, mini golf (bring your own balls and putter), boulders for climbing, ballpark, and some strange looking statues. Best of all, it is neighbour to Assistensens Kirkegård, and you always have this great cemetery as background. You can look for the woodpickers and squirrels in the big old trees.

This place lies a little bit further out from Copenhagen centrum, but can be reachable by 6A bus from Nørreport (get off at Bispebjerg Torv) and you can see the solid building of Grundtvig church looming across the park. Bispebjerg gets even more popular in the springtime when the cherry blossom trees bloom. These days they put a sign where the "kirsebæralleen" (cherry tree path) is, but just in case you miss the sign, it's way on the back left of the cemetery complex, near the burial chapel. This place is definitely worth going in the springtime.

With many small paths, hidden corners, open lawns and lots of green and flowers in spring and summer it's perfect for a quiet walk, or for sitting on a bench and taking in the sun.
