Originally inspired by the world of Tintin, the stores have evolved into the ultimate hub for enthusiasts, boasting an expansive selection of action figures, manga, board games, RPGs, and costumes. I kept seeing their tin-tin esque logo and decided to come in, the Aarhus location is crazy and the kids loved stopping in quickly. It's very close to the public parking we parked the rental walk and also an easy walk from Dokk1 library, the main bus station, and the Street Food food hall. They have a very large section of cool paints, brushes, and accessories for painting miniatures. This was the most crowded section of the store with lots of people browsing this area on a Thursday. The most interesting area for us was the medieval costume section. I have never seen anything like this, they have armor made of out real metal as well as replica weapons from realistic to soft enough to do fake battle with. I have never seen anything like this in the US and was immediately reminded of LARPing and medieval role play.  They also had a bunch of local comic con and sci fi event posters and flyers, seems like a good place to find out any of the local nerd events happening.

Cool store we found walking around the Latinerkvarteret district in Aarhus. We were so fascinated…read moreby the library it was hard to leave but my wife insisted we check out an area she went to alone earlier to visit some yarn houses. When you walk in you are immediately struck by a wave of nostalgia. Everything in their design and setup is almost like a 90s kids room. The funnest part for my kids was the N64 set up right at the entrance, they loved playing 2 player on it and reminded me of the same kind of setup my brother and I used to play on at Toys R Us. They sell a little bit of everything here, they do have a large quantity of toys that are set up on the shelves but also some cool video games in a display case, old magazine, comics, and there is even a collection of gum wrappers on a wall. Toward the back are old CRT TVs as well as a giant Nokia phone display. The owners are very cool as well, they told me about the "free" section on their website where you can find some scans of their personal collection.

Got the orange gravy, pork chunks, and sausage plate with rice. They offer "half portions" to sample but for us it was pretty much a full meal. Danyar Fish n Chips: Kids really wanted this and they had samples to try. Tasted OK, they are trying to do British style and the fries were good as well as the fish, just not as good as they are in the UK. Duck It: Had the duck boat which is pieces of duck in a fried potato shaped like a boat, this one was my wifes favorite.
