Through memory exploration and visualization exercises, Apaar helped me uncover emotional dynamics in my family that had been affecting me in ways I wasn't even aware of. The way I thought about certain relationships began to shift even after one session. At our first meeting, Apaar immediately made me feel welcomed and comfortable. As we talked, it quickly became clear that she is an active listener who keenly picks up on important details and asks brave questions that get to the heart of what you are expressing. Her method is gentle and comforting, without compromising on honesty and focus. Her genuine concern for and connection to the vulnerable moments I share makes me feel truly seen, and prepared to face difficult obstacles I had been avoiding. I highly recommend Awaken Life Hypnosis to anyone seeking healing, and look forward to continuing my work with Apaar!

This was the first hypnotherapist I have ever attended. If you have never been hypnotized, this is a great place to try it out. Sessions begin with a relaxed conversation about yourself, past and present. That conversation expands into shorter exercises and mini-hypnosis. Then the session culminates in the 'main event' at the end. The therapist is extremely kind, present, and engaged (super important qualities for this type of work). You will not regret booking a session. I highly, highly recommend it.

She is personable, funny, compassionate, warm, professional, and competent. In my case, I was looking for someone more experienced, not just another therapist. Her intuition is amazing; she understood things about me. She gave me new tools for working on my issues. She is warm and welcoming and I always felt comfortable talking to her. She treated me like a friend, not just a client. She got me.

Rebecca is an intuitive psychotherapist. When I first contacted her, I was struggling with worry, fear and depression caused by my inability to get pregnant. Although willing to speak with me on the phone, I thought that was weird, so our first appt was in person, followed by later phone sessions. She is totally able to do what she does over the phone, too, which really surprised me! Rebecca is warm, and the techniques she taught me regarding energy work and modifying my thought process were really inspriational. She helped me move out my old, negative thought patterns and helped me see the silver lining to every cloud, and how things don't come in the front door when you're staring at it, willing the doorbell to ring, but they do come in the backdoor, when you're not paying attention . . . And that's exactly what happened! I don't think I could have gotten to where I am now without her help, and where I am now is (finally!) where i've wanted to be for so long now! Thank-you, Rebecca!!!

I saw Deborah Rodgers for psychotherapy earlier this year. At first Deborah seemed very open and…read moreready to listen to the issues I was struggling with at the time. However, it became very clear soon that Deborah did not have the experience to handle any complex life issues. I found out that she was not able to provide any support for an issue other than basic communication problems. She would constantly say that my situation is "too difficult" for her. I told her I'd rather prefer a compassionate approach and find ways to manage my own anxiety in hopes of guiding her in providing me with the support that would be beneficial for me. She was not able to budge. Her lack of support during a time when I needed it most actually made my situation much worse, unfortunately. I was bummed I had spend so much money and end up in a worse spot than before. I politely mentioned to her that I wish to continue my treatment and healing through other forms of therapy and that I appreciated her help. After this, is when the nightmare for me personally began. I asked Deborah for basic information so I can submit our therapy sessions to my insurance. However, she declined to provide me with her business identification information. Then as I dug deeper into it, she didn't even document a diagnosis code for our sessions. No wonder she had no idea how to help me, as it clear she didn't even pay attention enough to properly document our sessions. I am astounded that a medical professional would act so carelessly and negligently with their patients and documentation. I am curious why she refused to provide my with the license information for my claim. No other professional therapist has ever had issues providing my information for claims. I have been trying to contact her for 4 months now and still no response. Does she even have a legitimate business? It feels a bit like a scam. With the end of the year approaching I doubt I will be able to get my refund from insurance in time. It is so unfortunate that Ms. Rodgers left me with so many psychological as well as financial issues. If you have any serious life issues you are dealing with or past trauma, please save yourself the time, money, and stress and avoid Deborah. I have been going to various amazing therapists through my life, and I am very disappointed to say that Deborah doesn't even come close. If you have any insurance claims to submit definitely avoid as she can't provide you with any documentation you need for reimbursement. I can't believe she cost me so much money and can't help with a simple task that would help my life so much. This experience was and is completely saddening and frustrating.
