And because of this connection, I felt I could trust Christine without a "formal" interview. Christine's Infant Care provides an intimate home daycare setting for infants & toddlers. While licensed for more children, Christine, aka Ms. D, chooses to limit 4 children under her care. The interior space is small but neatly organized for feeding, diaper changing, napping, playtime, & learning. The backyard is stocked with scoot cars, a water table, & other outdoor toys that are age-appropriate for your child. Parents are responsible for: diapers; wipes; diaper cream; lip balm; food, snacks, & milk; sunscreen; extra clothes; bibs & burp cloths; & crib sheets. Pros: 1) great hours (7:00 AM-6:00 PM), especially for working parents; 2) clean home/facility; 3) time-off/holidays that coincide with work schedule (New Year's Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Thursday & Friday), Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve), & there's no charge when Christine is ill or takes a vacation; 4) child may take up to 5 school days/calendar year at half price; 5) competitive tuition & low application fee; 6) low enrollment = more attention to your child; 7) daily log of your child's feeding, diaper changing, & napping schedule (I'm very Type A, so I LOVE this because I can keep tabs on my son's day); 8) on occasion she will text you some pics of their daily activities or special occasion pic (I LOVE our 2017 holiday pic of the kids... I knew he did make-up the loss of sleep at naptime because he no longer has dark circles under his eyes; another example, we were transitioning to sippy cups & he didn't finish milk so she suggested to keep his milk in the bottles & practice drinking water in sippy cups or cups... his bottles came back empty); 10) as your child gets closer to preschool, s/he will learn new skills/develop existing ones: how to self-feed; how to play with others & how to share (I found that in a smaller group, it has been easier for my son to "give up" a toy & share than when he's in a larger group); the alphabet & colors, how to count, etc. (I noticed a drastic improvement in my son's vocabulary from our story time discussions & his care at CIC; at 2 years old, my son can string 3-7 word sentences, not always grammatically correct but he is ahead of his neighborhood peers, but he has a lot to say... ;-) hehehe). Cons: 1) you're responsible for your child's snacks & lunch (my daughter's infant daycare had provided her meals & milk for the babies older than 1, & I only provided breastmilk until she weaned herself; that was a MAJOR bonus & timesaver for us); 2) your child may be photographed or video recorded while at the daycare & the images/videos may be uploaded on its website (by your enrollment, you consent to release of all media)... I'm mostly ok by this because her website isn't mainstream but some parents may have an issue so I'm pointing this out in case they didn't read the contract thoroughly. Overall, Christine's Infant Care is 4-1/2 stars; 1/2 star deduction for the snacks & meals, otherwise CIC would be perfect. When we're overwhelmed, we've either forgot our son's lunch or his food altogether :-*( so it would be a major advantage if food is provided. If you're unable to be a stay-at-home parent & need to find a trusted & quality care provider for your child, then look not further than Christine's Infant Care... Our first born son came into their care when he was a little over 10 months old. Prior to committing to Fern family daycare, we spoke to Ms Dilu, and she showed us the day care and spoke to us of what they do. She pretty much walk us through what we will be expecting as we left our eldest in their care, which was very reassuring as a first time mom. Our eldest had a few health issues, especially with allergies, but they were very accommodating and caring towards him. They helped him grow into a happy and sweet boy, who likes to play outside and sing. Aside from their care towards our eldest, they also extended their time and care to us, the parents. When I was pregnant with my second, I had to do an earlier c-section than what was planned, and they were there supporting us. Came our second son, he came in to their care when he was a little over 5 months old, and they welcomed him with open arms. Our second, as he learned to walk, he was very curious and likes to explore. Per Ms Dil, he was very independent and curious, so they would keep an extra eye on him. Our second born is quite the handful, but still they regard him as a very inquisitive, active, and happy boy. Our eldest spent his toddler years in their care, and, when he started Pre-K and until now, he would still say "Ms Dilu and Ms Dil will go to his school together." When we would pick up our youngest, prior to him starting preschool, our eldest would like to come down and say hi to Ms Dilu and Ms Dil and give them a hig hug. Now that both our boys are in school, it makes us appreciate all they have done for the boys and our family. Honestly, we don't know how we would have done it without Ms Dilu and Ms Dil. Everyday we are thankful that we found them, and they have played a huge part of our boys and our lives. Their thoughtfulness, love, and care for what they do makes it a bitter sweet goodbye. Counted, sorted, and probably color-coded. Shapes? Mastered. Arts and crafts? We're not sure if they're learning or training to become Etsy entrepreneurs. Little Friends Clubhouse raised my children the way I would have, if I had been a stay at home mom…read more I cannot tell you enough about how wonderful the caretakers are, but I will try anyway. :-). My first child started at one of those "factory" daycare centers. My son kept coming home sick from the factory daycare because it was so huge and had such a lax illness policy. Since Little Friends Clubhouse keeps the number of kiddos small (with a major dedication to cleaning,) it really minimizes the spread of germs. It *finally* let my son's ears clear up from all those previous colds - which was really fantastic, since the doctor felt baby boy needed tubes in his ears. Thanks to Little Friends Clubhouse, we didn't have to go that route. The factory daycare just let baby boy loose, not giving him any real care or support. If you are hesitant in the slightest about this being a Family daycare vs. a factory daycare - don't be. I can tell you the care and love my son got was night and day compared to the factory daycare. The caretakers are like family to us now, that's how much of an investment they made in my child's well being. They provided music lessons, cuddle time, arts and crafts, dance parties, you name it! I can't tell you how often my children came home with anecdotes about their day at the Clubhouse. Originally, baby boy would only eat pureed foods since that was all the previous daycare gave him (this was ~13 months old.) Little Friends Clubhouse worked with me to move him to solid foods from day one. They were patient, mashing up foods as needed, introducing new tastes and textures, etc. On top of that, they cooked all the meals! Not to mention its all organic food! It was a huge time saver for me, and really put my mind at ease knowing that baby boy was totally being taken care of. I swear, if it hadn't been for them, my son still might be eating pureed carrots and peas -_-. When I found out I was pregnant with my baby girl, I called the caretakers up right away - since I knew finding a newborn spot was next to impossible. They really worked with me to reserve a spot for my son's new sister. In conjunction with the birth of my daughter, there were layoffs at my company, with me loosing my job. The caretakers were super patient and supportive during this time. There were even a few occasions where they babysat my newborn while I went on phone interviews. At six weeks old, my daughter entered Little Friends Clubhouse with her brother. It was so reassuring to see the caretakers go gaa-gaa over my new baby. It really put me at ease knowing that even though she was still so ity bity, she was already earning a place in their hearts. Time passes too quickly with little ones, so before I knew it - the kiddos were being introduced to preschool work. The Clubhouse provided one on one time for learning for every kiddo, which is going above and beyond in my book. The first time my son came home with his preschool work I was flabbergasted! Over time I watched his penmanship improve, his number skills take off, and saw his love of arts and crafts grow. Then, his sister did the same thing (replacing arts and crafts with dancing ;-).) By the time they graduated from Little Friends Clubhouse, both children were doing basic addition and subtraction which still absolutely floors me. Often times, parents only consider the benefits a daycare can provide for their children. Well, Little Friends Clubhouse went above and beyond. They were always there to help with any parenting, milestone, or behavior questions I had. They provided adult to adult conversations (which are often missing from a new parents life.) They were always there - from venting about home-life, to talking about fantastic shopping finds, or simply to swap funny stories with. They made the path to parenthood so much easier, and I am eternally grateful. So in short - stop debating if you should give Little Friends Clubhouse a call - just do it! You won't find better caretakers anywhere else. :-).

Baby Bubbles specifically offers infant care, so only a small group of babies/children will be enrolled at any given time. The ratio of caregiver to child is often 1:1, with each child receiving lots of love & care tailored to their specific needs. Our daughter had to go through the helmet process (IYKYK!) and everyone at BBIC was more than willing to work with us through the process. Our daughter definitely developed some really special bonds while here and was quite attached to everyone who cares for her at BBIC. She arrived every morning excited to be greeted at the front door, and couldn't wait to jump in with her playmates. She even cried at times when I would arrive to pick her up at the end of the day! By the time she "graduated" at two years old, she had learned all the basic sign language, could sing her ABCs and could even count to 10 in both English, and Spanish! She actually still says "mas" when she wants more lol Her caregivers, and the little friends she made here, were really the only thing she'd known outside of her dad and I so we were truly sad to leave - I cried after we picked her up on the last day! From the very beginning, Ms. Tigiye welcomed Ava with open arms and a heart full of love. Her calm, nurturing presence created a safe and joyful environment where Ava could thrive.
