I don't know where to start. I hired this company over the phone to clean an apartment I have in Maastricht because unfortunately I could not be there to coordinate myself. I did however have a friend in town who gave them the key and checked in to inspect the progress. The owner and I agreed the work would be done in three hours. I had agreed upon a rate with the 'owner' over the phone for house cleaning services, 20EUR/hour. When my friend popped in after about 1.5 hours they were on a cigarette break! Sitting on my couches smoking cigarettes IN A HOUSE THEY WERE TO BE CLEANING AND WHILE ON MY PAID TIME! Whatever. After 3 hours my friend returned and they were again just hanging out. He inspected the cleaning job and found MANY issues and then pointed them out to the cleaners from where they immediately started yelling at him and becoming confrontational over their work. He asked them to be professional and just to collect their things and leave and they finally did. I later found out that since he sent two people to do the job my rate doubled (20EUR per person) +BTW and some 'additional' cleaning supplies (even though they were to use mine, totaling over 160EUR. I had a long talk with the owner once I got the bill and he tried to explain to me that the cleaners are very sensitive and felt badgered, then he said that the place was so dirty his employees' health was at risk (it wasn't that bad, just a rental).
