This is our first child together and we wanted some personal, heartwarming images to share with our families back home. Konul did a wonderful job! She helped us scout out the perfect location and was very helpful throughout the entire process. We (and our families) were thrilled with the results--some of the comments we received: Your photos are "stunning"... "erethral"..."gorgeous". I highly recommend the Light Within Photography for anyone looking to celebrate any special life moment!

And this isn't even getting into her work, which is obviously incredible. The things she does with light are nothing short of amazing, you'll have a hard time choosing which portraits to frame, and she takes some of the very best dance floor shots of any photographer I've worked with (and let me tell you, dance floors are hard, because they're so often very-dimly lit.) I highly recommend her to all of my clients.

For any Vancouverites out there, you will understand this reference: this store is very similar to…read morethe "Circle Craft" store in Granville Island, and a bit like the "Make It" store there, too. This is a higher-end boutique that showcases the handmade works of local artisans: jewelry, paper goods (greeting cards, stationery), lotions and potions, candles, soaps, gourmet foods, some textile goods (knitted works, scarves, etc.), prints, household gift ideas (ceramic trays, small pottery pieces), and more, much much more. I always loved shopping local and supporting local artisans, so stores like this really speak to me. I really liked how there were posted informational cards throughout the store, talking about all the artists who created the pieces. When you shop here, you know you aren't getting a mass-produced item. It feels more "personal" when you get something made by hand by an artist you know something about. As is usually the case, one pays a premium for hand-made artistic pieces. The prices here are high, as they always are for artisan works. But I think it's worth it.

Run, don't walk, to book him for a session. Not only did he go out of his way to change his own schedule to make our timeframe work, he did it with minimal notice and was an absolute pleasure to communicate with as we figured out the details. He is a true artist, as evidenced by the breathtaking images he captured for us. He has such an eye for catching those special moments; just looking at the pictures allows me to relive every bit of the emotion behind them. And incredibly quick turnaround time- we got our sample shots just days after the ceremony! Robert is so knowledgeable about the best locations and was so generous in giving us his time to take us to a number of incredible spots. Case in point, even as we dropped him off at the water taxi he had a few minutes to spare and offered to take more shots there! Overall, a phenomenal experience and highly recommend working with him if you get the chance. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you Robert!!!
