11/10/23 the tech's just completed the work. I can't say enough about this company. Eli and Ross were a pleasure to work with. I got an overall quote to bring my house to code, Ross explained and showed me each fix that needed done. I feel the quote was very reasonable so it's something I'll be doing down the road. Today, the guys (Ross and Eli) corrected another independent guys mess up. I now have a hall light that works by turning off by a wall switch. They offer a $89 service fee. After the assessment I was given a quote, at that point had the option to proceed with the work or decline. I feel with the price of gas and price to run a van 35 miles away is a fair deal on the service fee. I'm 100% happy with my experience with Lightspeed Electric. Knowledgeable, professionable, honest, upfront and reliable. Throughout the years, I have used Lightspeed numerous times. First of all, they answer their phone. How exciting is that?!? They are also very polite and knowledgeable while on the phone. I love that the Techs give upfront pricing for the job. There are no hidden fees. To me, that is a huge relief. (It is really scary when a serviceman comes over and you have no idea how much it will cost.) They explain what they will do in terms that I can understand. Lightspeed Electrical has performed small tasks of installing overhead lighting, changing my ballast so that my fluorescent Kitchen lights were converted to LED and adding GFCI outlets to my bathrooms. They did what I asked, drop 220v to a hot tub in the back yard. I wasn't impressed with the finish work. The pipe comes out of a hole in the eave (roughly cut) and drops two floors. He used what appear to be long, gold drywall screws right through the vinyl siding and there's no way he hit studs for each hole. No confidence it will hold to the wall like this.
